But that's not fair. Even if they are only here for them why should that matter? Why should the reason why someone reads a manga make you hate them? Some people may not care for the plot but only like the characters and stay with the story. It's all still love for the author and her/his ability to make such great characters.

the person has worked for years to create a coherent story and then there are people just for a character. Do you find this normal? not at all. I love Levi, but y'all just love him for his face or his body, but not for his past or anything. like i said he worked hard to create a story and you all preferred a character instead of the story

Yes he worked hard, I'm not saying that he didn't, but if the reason someone continues to come back to a story is because they love a character - whether it be because of their physical attributes or because they like his/her backstory - is still another person being immersed into his story. They still read to find out what happens to that character. If their character dies, maybe they'll stop - but who cares? They'll still tell people - hey there was this cool character from this one manga I used to read, and through that more people can find out about the manga. It's all still love for the world/character that Isayamu created.
