Yes I absolutely love this, D.od in general has a way to write characters that I adore.
I love angst and emotionally complex relationships, just as "For my weirdo", it's yet another work I love.
And yeah the art is gorgeous, even better as compared to before.

it’s his trauma that triggered him. he is a mentally ill teenage boy. yall didn’t keep this same energy when cirrus sa’d skylar. point is they both apologized. skylar slander will not be tolerated or appreciated

trauma is not the end all be all excuse for everything a person does. they need to talk about this and overcome it properly, I'm not slandering I'm saying exactly what happened and how I don't like physical assault between a couple. who knew being against domestic violence was unpopular lol I even mentioned throwing things cause that's what Cirrus did. did you even read the whole comment? why are you assuming I didnt condemn his actions as well?

I didn't expect the author to just skim over the glaring issue of physical violence. I'm a former teen who is still mentally ill and gay and I didn't go around punching people when I got overwhelmed and if I had I'd hoped to fucking god people would be objective and not skim over it and yeah I called him an idiot cause the lie was idiotic and easily discoverable. mom took a whole two seconds to figure out the kid wasn't where he said he was and all he had to say was a half lie "I'm at a friend's house". she would've still been mad but it would have covered him. saying a character is a shitty lier is hardly slander

notice how you said “i” probably because the world doesn’t fucking revolve around you !! people experience abuse and trauma in relationships and cirrus and skylar are the type of relationships that don’t really talk over their feelings because they aren’t used to it. think about it from their perspective. i know these are fake characters but these are also real issues. plus he said that lie out of pure anger and guess what he APOLOGIZED!! and he said the lie without a thought. and you just said it yourself it wouldn’t make a difference in telling the lie because she is still going to have the same reaction. the trauma they went through is so overlooked by people like you because you think that you’re the only one who deal with this kind of thing. newsflash maybe every topic is not going to the the same process.

point is everyone experience something different. and he lied about being at a library isn’t a big deal because he doesn’t want to be found out about being with a guy considering his past and trauma. healing doesn’t happen over night buddy

Not everyone wants to talk about everything and when Skylar was forced to go to therapy it worsened his mental state am not saying I won't tolerate Skyler slander am just telling you to understand at some point if you get it

from what i seen they didn’t. i didn’t see one comment insulting cirrus for his action and most being like understandable and also people trying to justify it. and no one complained when skylar accepted cirrus apology.

i don't know if you've been there when chapter 82 came out and if you're talking only about comment section on mangago, but i was there and trust me everyone hated him. i haven't seen anyone justifying him, and if u think people excused his actions because they analyzed it, and how it's connected to his past, then you're wrong. just because they understood why he did that, doesn't mean that they justify his actions. it's the same with skylar. people analyze his behavior and understand why he behaved a certain way, but they still don't agree with his actions. the reason why u might think people didn't talk that much abt what cirrus did might be also because the fandom wasn't as big at that time as it is right now

never once said that it wasn’t connected to his child hood. and i was on mangago and i didn’t see anyone hating him. and no one is understanding why skylar did what he did that’s the whole point of my comment. double standards when it comes to them. and i was telling them why he did what he did and not justifying it but they both apologized to each other and people are still coming at skylar as if they both haven’t done anything wrong. and i don’t think i know people haven’t. i’m not saying that EVERYONE wasn’t hating on cirrus but a lot weren’t hating on him or seeing what he did was wrong. that’s why they apologized and that’s why they’re still in a relationship. also others are coming at the author for the plot when it’s realistic.

I never said it happened overnight. y'all are just unwilling to see how as an author that is a dangerous message to give. experiencing something different is perfectly acceptable but being a ok with two teens that are in a partnership to be smacking each other around is asinine

again, not saying people experience the same things but by not making this sort of a bigger deal the author is sending a bit of a message. same sex relationships already have a hard time claiming domestic violence because the laws don't see it as abuse enough. you're seeing this as if I'm picking on Skylar, I'm just worried about the message the author might be sending by cutting to them making out as if it's ok

i’m saying this is realistic, maybe not for you but for others it is. what cirrus said triggered skylar and yes cirrus doesn’t know about skylar’s past thats why skylar apologized. they both don’t really know how to communicate due to their past trauma. it takes time and you making it seem like every couple should just be perfect 24/7 makes it weird. they have had their ups and downs but they’re trying. that’s the whole point. it’s toxic because they’re learning. it’s not intentional

there's a huge gap between perfection and physical violence. you seem to just be perfectly ok with the author not really addressing the issue other than a little "oops my bad!" and I guess thats ok for you. I'm not expecting perfection for teens, nor was I expecting domestic violence but alas

i literally just said they don't properly communicate due to their traumas. they aren’t used to it because they never really communicated about this stuff. it’s called progress. and i hate to break it to you but yes domestic violence exist. it’s not romanticized in lost in the cloud as it is in others.
