I get she’s scared of her sisters, but like she doesn’t even know if they are alive + she risked her life multiple times already. She had critical wounds, got hurt and went through all kinds of situations already, so seriously why is she still so concerned about them? I get trauma and all, but she literally went through war. I don’t think they can do anything worse than that.

I hope Wolf doesn’t get blamed and I hope Fai gets arrested. Yes, he had pure intentions, but he could’ve quite literally just communicate with her/ask her to meet his sister instead of kidnapping her. He shot her and put her in grave danger, just cause he couldn’t try to be upfront. Sorry, but there definitely should be consequences. You don’t get to kidnap and endanger people, just cause u want to do a favor to your family about smth. However, I feel like Lily will pardon him cause she’s way too nice for her own good

Not saying what he did was right, but my understanding is that they did ask for permission but kept getting stonewalled, and I think his sister was dying or something? So he kidnapped her in a desperate measure to fulfill his sister’s wish.
He didn’t ask HER for permission, and I’m sure he could’ve met her somehow. Also, at the very least before the literal kidnapping he could’ve told her/them. So there really is no excuse honestly.
I’m sure she would have said yes, my impression is that they weren’t given a chance to ask her — for plot reasons they were being blocked out, which I’m assuming is why we didn’t see much of Pai even though he’d been able to meet her before.
He had time, at the very least, when he confronted her in the forest and her brother came. Could’ve said then and there instead of just kidnapping her, they were literally talking. So, yeah, I don’t think he has any excuse

She pretty much straight up told him she did it cause she wanted to die and told him off, criticized him and kinda suggested that him confessing to her so suddenly is kinda bullshit, like kinda pointed out his inconsistency with it. Like she didn’t accept his feelings, she was very cold and criticized him, def didn’t try to comfort him or be considerate like “you shouldn’t abandon your morals for me”. As far as I remember btw, read it a while ago, but u should def read it too, it was very satisfying. I do definitely remember her being ice cold tho

Idk, to me that’s just way too random and weird. Seems inconsistent with his character and kinda weird writing

And about her being nicer and the whole discussion... from what I remember, this conversation went pretty similar, and all this 'bullshit things' was just in Penelope's head... of course if I remember corectlly
He is normal, but he simply has too little interaction with her for his feelings and that situation to make sense.
But yeah from I remember she was much colder to him in the novel than here, I think there’s a big difference. However, I also read that a while ago so I can be wrong, but I specifically remember cause I was surprised how coldly she treated him when I thought he didn’t really do much to her to act that way.
well if you think of it thoroughly, her behawior isn't exactly out of nowher... she is simply sick of ewerythink and eweryone, and then nowone know from where Winter and his like he say love, when she know it isn't even love, and all his talk about that bi*h and how angelick she is... really if I was in her place, I would punch him... propably.
