Well, the MC parents were forced to have a child together, like some breeding horses. It's not Enoch but the Emperor, he forced them both to have the child and while this situation was over for Enoch after one (or a couple of) night(s), she had to endure this absolutely unwanted pregnancy for 9 months. Do you know what a bystander and enabler is? What assistance in a crime is? Parents who watch their children be abused or SA’d and do nothing about it/hide it are also free of blame, right? With more details, that's definitely a possibility. What was shown in the past was awful but we weren't given details of how it came to be and having read more than a few manhwa like this, the regression scenes tend to lack the intention or actions on purpose. Like in the last chapter where the bio mum said she gave the emperor their deets for her child's safety knowing he could get and stay away again if he wanted to. So until there's some actual mailicious intention, the emperor is the only real threat for now.
