i know my tropes. that panel of that dude is sus as hell and i do not want it at all. i dont care if love rivals pRoMpT AcTiOn from the male lead, they usually just suck. i understand im being preemptively bitter and i hope im proven wrong

That’s just a difference of opinion then. I only like love rivals when the ML is mean or I like the male lead less. Neither is the case here. As a reader, if there’s a love rival, it’ll personally make me just roll my eyes because I don’t think third-party people are necessary (they might actually make it a worse experience) to make a romance compelling.
That’s true, I hate it when the rival actually catches feelings but I hope this one won’t be bad ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Yeah. I agree with you. I'm really contemplating dropping this story because our FL is too indulging and it annoyed me.
Yeah I had hoped this latest chapter was going somewhere in terms of those annoying characters. But nope we went from a microscopic bit of improvement back to zero by the end of the chapter.
