It seems like Aeroc was fine with all that abuse. So long as he could be with Kloff. There was even a point in time when Kloff was thinking of marrying another omega and probably moving on but Aeroc stopped that and made all kinds of excuses just so that Kloff would stick close to him and dote on him. Basically, he let all of that abuse happen. Not just because of guilt but also because of his unhealthy obsession to have Kloff all to himself.
I do not condone all of that abuse he went through, but he sure as hell was not an unwilling participant in all of that.
Their relationship was so twisted in the first timeline.

I disagree with the friend.... there is various stages of Arok first life, but in essence he stays in the little house because of guilt...after trying of killing himself and failing he thinks that he has to pay for his sins long as klopp wants it, that is why he never leaves despite the abuse, he never ask klopp for anything and that is when he gets pregnant with his third child.
Sure previous that he was delusional, he was living in the major mantion when klopp change him into an omega and he had two children with him and he even think he could live as klopp partner despite being raped and forced to bring his children..

Well but from what I remember of that part it happened before he even went to bottomplace. when kloff first started helping him he was still a naive young master. After he was kicked out he woke up and realized (whether true or not) kloff never loved him and loved raphiel. At that point he only went back around to catch a glimpse of his children. He would have never interfered in a remarriage. Remember he left on his own to feet at the end because he had such bad Stockholm syndrome he thought he was the one hurting kloff.
What I commented was volume 6 of the novel. It's what would have happened if Aeroc didn't die after giving birth to the twins at the end of the 1st timeline
He kept interfering in a remarriage when he was in the cabin, pregnant with their succeeding children.
He used the excuse of being pregnant to always ask Kloff to be by his side. Of course, an alpha can't ignore an omega carrying his child so Kloff obliged in the end.
Aeroc really did feel guilt with what happened to Rapiel. Him enduring life in the cabin was his form of atonement but ultimately, he also wanted to stay close to Kloff. Even if he had to endure humiliation and pain. That was how twisted their lives were in the 1st timeline.
Wait what i thought kloff was going to move aerok in and then he died. In the what if kloff tried to marry someone else? Since he bonded with aerok that would have been hard on both of them.
Plus character wise that doesn't make sense. Aerock tried to kill himself twice. And in his second life he does everything he can to help kloff and raphiel get married. It really doesn't make sense he would sabotage kloffs marriage and get pregnant with another child to keep him.l at that point. Another child would probably kill him?

The intention to remarry happened before he died in the first timeline. It's when he was pregnant with the 2nd or 3rd child.
then my point about the timing stands. He wouldnt have done that later on. And also I just read novel 6 and read it way differently. He admits he would put up with abuse to be with kloff but its because he thinks he deserves it. He is in no way “letting it happen” as a manipulation to get kloff to be with him. He is letting kloff punish him for his sins while feeling guilty he still has feelings of love despite it all.
And personally i think kloff was just messing around with that omega to make aerok suffer anyway.
