Are people not allowed to give criticism? Comments don’t always have to be positive and praiseworthy. If a story has some shitty aspects then it has some shitty aspects. “You knew from the beginning what kind of story it was.” Yes. But after 50+ chapters, maybe, just maybe, people expected some change. “It’s just fiction. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.” But that’s the beauty of books, Webtoons, anime, manga, music, etc. People come together and talk about their love (or hate) for certain works because at the end of the day, it’s a work of art. I have a strong respect for people creating and putting their artistic work out there but the public is allowed to criticize or praise it.
People have whole ass careers and fan bases reviewing movies and TV shows/anime. I, for one, love reading the comments and interacting with people. If I loved a story and someone else hated it, I’d love to hear why. I talk shit about mangas/Webtoons and books all the time but at the end of the day, it’s all in fun and I’m respectful.
Stop being a grumpy butt just because someone doesn’t like your a story you really like and they comment their thoughts on it.

Sooooo. I think many of us are in agreement that the MC ain’t it. I hate how authors write the MCs trying to follow the story to a T and they spend so much of their time doing that. Aria admitted that she treated Axel differently than his stepfather and was kinder and then she turned around acting all surprised that he was hurt. In the novel she read about him, it basically said he had abandonment issues. Aria is not the victim. If anything, she should be apologizing. “I ruined the male lead” or whatever the fuck she said. Girl bye.
Art is bombastic though. Love it. Did it change like three times? Yes but still good.

The amount of secondhand embarrassment while reading this was astounding. The ML is a dick through and through. You would think after 30 chapters, there’d be some character development where he would treat her like someone who is precious to him whether that’s as a future partner or his first female friend that he doesn’t want to lose. I know there’s this whole, “people pick on their crushes” thing. Usually, I don’t mind this trope but it could’ve been done better. I love a nice tsundere story but it’s just not giving. There is something seriously wrong with a story if we cannot see the characters CLEARLY grow.

I’m surprised more people aren’t reading this! It’s surprisingly really good. I love the comedy mixed with wholesomeness mixed with food. I do wish we could see more cooking, less romance drama though.
I think the author missed the opportunity to name this Corn Soup. It would’ve been such a good title. My favorite thing about this, is the communication. I’m so happy the miscommunication doesn’t continue for 10+ chapters like most Webtoons (for the most part). I will definitely continue to read this!

This story is a good example of how making a story too fast paced can be detrimental to the plot.
How I would’ve went about it is, introduce the MC and show that she’s been abused and how she’s trying to break free. It’s not like she had friends in her previous life from what we saw, so her buddying up with her roommates so quickly was odd to me. The author could’ve made a little tension upon them first meeting especially with her unique hair color. Her roommates are hesitant to get to know her. Not mean but hesitant. Maybe the MC sticks up for the commoner girl because she understands what it’s like to be outcasted. Boom, they see that she’s an alright person and start to form a friendship.
I always hate that the guy that I want to be the ML is never the ML. I know authors do this shit on purpose because shaggy brown haired guy would’ve been *chefs kiss*.
The author is making everything fast paced EXCEPT for the MCs personality. MC is not interesting. She’s strong but no one really knows that. Like someone else mentioned, being humble can come off as insincerity. I’m annoyed at her hiding her powers. One of the tropes I hate. “I can’t let anyone know how skilled or strong I am so I stay out of the spotlight.” And then something happens where they’re forced to show their skills and now EVERYONE and they mama knows how strong they are now. Doing all that hiding just to have your powers exposed in an anticlimactic scene. Okay. I’m done.

I think the story isn't that well planned. It's kinda boring but I really like how things are escalating in this chapter. I still think author is gonna disappoint and they're not setting the characters well for this plot. But the art is okay, I like the mundane school setting and I like reading this when my faves aren't updating lol. The reverse harem is bound to make me drop this tho. Like nah, you're too old to be moved by this teenage love.
I see some people hating on the MCs personality but I think for this particular story, it makes sense. This is his 100th time dying and reliving the same fate over and over. Coupled with him being excessively bullied, his parents dying, seeing his brother also bullied and blinded, and having to become the guardian of his brother at such a young age.
Life has not been nice to this guy so it makes sense that his heart is hardened. I think we can definitely see that he has empathy and clearly loves and cares for his brother. But it’s literally his last chance to not only save himself but his family and basically the last remaining people on earth. There is no room for error. I prefer the stoic personalities opposed to the over the top, too cocky, immature personalities. The nice and humble personalities are always the best though. I hope we’re able to see him open up a little bit more as the story goes along.
