I finally got around to reading this and I have to say this is hands down the most realistic shounen ai I have ever read. It brushes upon a lot of issues that many gay people face and the story does a great job conveying those feelings of not feeling accepted or being afraid that your partner will eventually leave you for the opposite sex. The story even briefly brushed on the topic of bi men and how gay guys don’t really mess with them due to the fear of their partner preferring women. There are many parents who are accepting like LiHaun’s dad opposed to YuYang’s parents who are not so accepting at first. Then there is the pressure for gay men to get married and have kids which happens so much in the world and this is why there are many men on the DL. It only hurts themselves and the people around them. I hope the grandfather is able to come around and see how selfish he is being. He’s lived his life, so now it’s time for his grandson to live his. I wish more parents would realize this. In regards to their children getting married and having children, it is not about them. Brilliant writing and amazing art.

Dude. For ONCE. FOR FUCKING ONCE I want to read a manga where the main character ends up with the side character who treats them right. If River ends up with Khaol instead of Heil, someone is gonna have to square up and catch these hands. Period. If the author pulls a reverse uno I swearrrrr. River better not go back to Khaol after homeboy basically killed him, used him, thought he was dead for five years due to his assholery and he has the AUDACITY to try and contact him. I want to know how everyone else feels. What do you guys think is going to happen?

I couldn't agree more! My 2nd male lead syndrome is happy atm so don't ruin it!! Idgf about his excuses to why he did it. You got what you wanted so leave him alone why are you still dissatisfied? Don't be a selfish prick and let him be happy.
I read somewhere that there's a high chance that Heil x river ship will sail. Apparently the author also ships Heil x river so I'm guessing it will happen but don't quote me on that since I only heard it from someone else

frrr dude is still hung up on his ex and being a bitch towards river's ancestors even after 1500+ years AND when the ex literally said that its okay for him to move on without him. he also be talking shit about his previous marriages yet had the audacity to be mad that the wives ran away to heil's side when all he does is feed from them. im glad that river now knows his worth and that heil was the better choice. if that low life decomposing carbon waste pops up in my dream its on site and imma do justice for everyone's anger.

This manhwa is superb. It is original to say the least. The author said it’s far from over so I am excited to see what direction she is going to take this. One of my favorite things about POTN is that the characters look Asian. You can clearly tell that they are Korean and that is unique in the manga world and a little more common amongst manhwa and manhua authors (don’t @ me). I will keep following this author to see what other work she comes out with because her art style is that damn beautiful. And everyone keeps talking about how cute Na-kyum is, but I love Seungho’s crazy/sadistic self. I love a good crazy/sadistic character and the author has not disappointed. Obviously, Seungho has some hidden trauma and I’m curious as to what it is and how the cute Na-kyum is going to help him. I can’t wait for the new chapters to come out in July!

and one thing i really like is that characters seem different from each other i,like they have specific features that make them differ from each other i really like that ....and yes i really like the characters too even though they may be messed up somehow you empathise its crazy tbh that i like Seungho even though he has done so many bad things i feel sad for him he seems empty yeahhhh this manhwa is really cool

Man. I haven’t binge-read a manga/manhwa in a long time. It took me a few hours, but I’m finally done and it was an epic ride. I see a lot of people comparing this to Hunter x Hunter, but I just do not see it. Of course, the hunters and bloodlust is similar. If anything it reminds me of One Punch Man. Sung Jin-Woo kind of has to be the strongest. I saw a few people complaining about how he just keeps winning every fight. It is literally kill or be killed. I’m sure the premise of the manga is for him to become the strongest. All the fights are so damn bad-ass that I don’t mind him winning every fight. I think I’m going to slip this bad boy into my top 5 mangas/manhwas that I’ve read so far in 2020. I can’t wait for season 2.
Seems promising so far. The only thing that kept bothering me was her constantly telling him that he wasn’t the father when he was. Maury would be so disappointed.
