So I read it on the mangascan site. I m still curious why Lister is bullying Slan? Like why? Was it inferiority complex? Did he not the real friend of Slan and now enjoying his downfall?
When Slan was a lord, he was benevolent, he wasn't some kind crazy guy. Even the servants aren't outcasted him and actually try to care about Slan but very afraid that Lister is going to be angry.
I am glad this nasty brat isn't the ML.
Even people around ML is also caring about Slan.
While Lizbeth promised to treat Slan good, she never actually uphold her promises. She knew Slan was being bullied but all she did was taking Slan away.
Idk what lister wants. He is so weird. I mean Slan did everything he asked, even if Slan felt humiliated, he still does it, but Lister just love to find anything to beat him up or starved him or giving him dangerous order
I think he kinda like slan. Remember when slan say he used to treat lister like lister's sister son. so he must be like slan but he still childish and can't control his temper, a spoiled brat (he feel like cuz slan is a slave right now his status is lower than him so even small favor is great for slan even tho he treat slan so badly he like he deserved it since he is slave). This siblings kinda sus. I still wonder why they want to hide mc's memory.
I think the whole ordeal of how Slan "accidentally" Pushed his father/uncle fall to death is very suspicious. Because, suddenly, someone else is taking over Slan's position as Kalak Lord. Also, how Slan & Lloyd (who is a son of Ibsen clan) are having very open relationship that everyone practically know about it. They might be afraid if the Lord could alleviate the status of Ibsen descendants. These siblings are hiding not only Slan's memories about Lloyd but also Slan's memories when he was ruling as lord.
At least the late king wasn't that stupid. He realized he was poisoned and being manipulated. He finally used his last wits to send the prince away and only with his trusted Knight & maid. It just sad he seemed wanted to be free from the poison but he was poisoned since he was a kid and traumatized by losing his regas
Ok someone who read the novel please give me spoiler (Ω Д Ω)
I think he lost hope in the process of being manipulated. Then Abel came and his hope was renewed so in last ditch attempt to preserve that hope he helped his son to get away which is sad because thinking of the past kings who suffered and lost hope too because there was no one to save them and watched helplessly as their regas get killed and replaced by fake (/TДT)/
Yes!! It was so sad when the librarian found the hidden message about for many many generations kings & queens have been controlled and manipulated. They were being made into addict and fearful of everything. Then when they started to have hope, their regas were always been killed and replaced by "controlled regas". I do think the late king " Found" hope when he met Abel & the prince, as he tricked his regas and left him in the forest.
Idk why the story is low rating???
ML is a green flag. FL is weak, timid and awkward, but she always strife to do better. She knows she is lacking that's why she practice conversation. FL & ML didn't go unnecessary "I don't want to sleep with you" moment. Their misunderstanding is funny ones, bot heartbreaking or confusing. Even if FL hide the fact she was abused in her family, it's only 1 chapter, and she just answered her husband honestly when he asked later.
FL was stupid it's true, but that's not because of no reason. Remember, the story is in period time. No internet, no police, she also just a girl. What can she do? Make online tiktok video to ask for help???
She tried to marry someone is her "only" way to escape. If people kept reading. After she got married, she learned a lot of stuff. She tried to do business. She is kind and respectful and more, she is eager to learn. She is also not focusing that her husband is a "villain" in the novel. But she sees her husband as a normal human and accepted that her husband is just kind and not a monster like in novel.
I just really like seeing Host system beating around god awful people lol. But seriously :
Who the hell the authors of all those novels host system transmigrating into??? The plots are all damn awful. Why all female lead & male lead are bad moral example???
1st story, the female lead is someone who regressed but in her 2nd life she bullied all the concubines in harem and caused many deaths and male lead is just ungrateful bastard. Even Male Lead forgot his first wife who helped him got the throne, protected him and even took poison for him for what? A whore? Why anyone wrote novel like this? Lol
2nd Story, Male Lead sold his gf to get raped and he still get a good ending in original novel. Why is this even a novel?
5th story is also really weird novel. Female lead is a high school bully, causing someone's death, even as far as arrange the real daughter to get raped so she won't lose her place in her rich adopted family. That's really awful and unredeemable. While Male Lead is telling a girl who confessed to him to just die???? Is there really a braindead novel with these awful characters as Leads?
I have read few stories in villain/villainess as main character but all have somehow justification about why they did what they did. And usually the antagonist main character still have bad/tragic ending because the karma they accumulated. But the novels the system host transmigrating are so weird that all this horrible Leads are having good ending if not for our host system defending the cannon fodder.
Personal Review on arc "how abandoned wife became a president".
The starting is good. Because the real FL & ML are in love with each other. While ML is from conglomerate family and his business is in entertainment industry, FL is from political family, even tho she has double doctoral degree she chose to be house wife.
What regrettable is, how the evil couple took 4 years of their life and ruined it completely including people around real FL & ML. While the evil period prince took over ML body, he did a hell lot bad deeds and even killed his older cousin who was managing Wen Conglomerate. The he proceed to ruin Wen Zheng reputation, being cruel & terrorist.
Su Luxia did get ML body back and purge the evil prince spirit, but both FL & ML couldn't live like they used to. ML can't no longer work in entertainment industry and his Wen Family went bankrupt. Many people died in the presidential election. FL family is still rich and stuff, but it just sad there's so many canon fodder. I thought somehow Su Luxia could reverse time again during the filming and get FL & ML their life back but she can't. They still live happily but thinking how many people died and ruined by that evil couple is sooo regrettable.
nah the story just takes all the morally problematic aspects of these Chinese novels and amplifies them to justify mc's actions. for example, i had read a brain-dead novel with a mc who had the antagonist who was horrible and evil (and tried to kill said mc several times) raped, but in this story's case, the victim is completely innocent. the person mc takes over is always innocent bc this story ponder over the "what if the people the original fl implicates is innocent...?" but in those stories, they are never, bc this is common in wish-fulfillment stories for the perfect mc to attack them.
just like those stories, u cant think too much about the plot bc this is also a not-very-well-written wish-fulfillment story.
Actually if you go deeper in the story you will know about the "main plots". It was actually mentioned, that the worlds that Su Luxia transmigrates are finished stories, means the authors has no control or whatsoever in those worlds. Most of them are also low-tier worlds, even if they have high ratings as a novel. A low-tier world are unstable and may fallen apart or consumed by demon system. So the agents (Su Luxia) save those worlds by fulfill the wishes of the characters who have strong desires.
There are also novels that are F-tier ratings so the story are badly written. According to Su Luxia those stories are based on the author desires and had no idea the consequences to what happen to the characters. (A finished novel/stories transform into worlds.)
It's really frustrating how many novels depict side characters meeting unjust deaths, especially in cases where the second female lead is vilified for her obsessive love toward the male lead. Often, she's ridiculed because the male lead rejects her love, declaring it's not what he wants. In her jealousy, she might take drastic actions against the female lead, which ultimately lead to her downfall. But what's truly unfair is that if the male lead's business rival or another man were pursuing the female lead, the male lead wouldn't hesitate to use illegal or unethical methods to eliminate the competition.
The second female lead and the male lead often share similar backgrounds and upbringings, yet the narrative conveniently frames one as the villain and the other as a morally grey, irresistibly desirable figure. It’s deeply unfair that the second female lead is condemned while the male lead is glorified for the same type of behavior. And to top it off, the second female lead often ends up dying because she refuses to give up on her love, which, in a way, is actually admirable.

This is so weird. Frankly. I blame seme and his sister.
1. Seme kept choosing his sister over his own lover, sometimes it's okay, but sometimes it's not. And in this case uke clearly felt he was always number two. Then seme stubbornly broke up with uke
2. Uke already told seme's sister that they both used to dated and he STILL LOVE seme, so marriage ISN'T possible, but seme's sister kept pushing for marriage and saying "I can make you love me"
3. Then when before they got married, uke still kissing seme. Even after they are married, seme n uke were still close. Uke already told her he doesn't love her. So he showed her that he could give blow job to sleeping seme
4. Now they are divorced, seme sleep with uke again while seme crying saying can I be replacement for my sister? Stuff like that. Then sister got angry with her brother for RECIPROCATING uke's feeling for seme.
Like??????
I still don't understand why uke accept the marriage, but I blame seme and his sister for this weird twisted fate
