After that confession-rejection scene between Emma and Ryan, (if you're super emotional like me, you'll understand) I've grown an inner hatred for Emma because of how dimwitted, inconsiderate, and very selfish she is, but I know she can't help it, it's just the way she is but her unawareness and naive-ness really makes me mad. I hate her but I like her, her character can't be helped but it CAN be helped, her character to put it simply, it very contradicting to readers, still, poor Ryan, I feel heart and soul for you man （/TДT)/

I feel like this manwah (sp?) is entirely made of flashbacks. It feels like you get maybe a glimpse of what is happening presently but the rest is flashback. Id say 90% is flashback and if the writer uses a literary devise this much, wouldnt it have been better to just with the 2 mcs young and then show us how they met. I dunno if what i said makes any sense, sorry just ranting my opinion
I agree with ya 100% - why flashback when you could start earlier in the story and lead up to same end ya know?
