Just like i predicted, it's not going to be dark as the other work from the author like some dumbos here were suggesting.
Insecure alpha will use the doc as an emotional crutch to eventually get over his deep-seated secondary gender issues and lack of self-love, and the doc will grow out of thinking with his d*ck and develop feelings for him ala BJ Alex style. We'll probably get 2 or 3 more chapters of their side story before the author can focus back on the main couple and seamlessly weave this second couple in the main storyline simultaneously. Everyone hating on them can die mad lmao
I kinda get why people are pissed but... with the vanilla romance shit on the main couple already done with, i think this new and slightly darker dynamic would be more interesting to see.

I have a feeling it's not even going to be remotely close to Hogu - just your typical 'push/pull fuck-buddies turned to lovers' trope. They're not the main couple so there's less space to build something more complex. Folks overreacting now are going to look like clowns imho

TBH even Yule was more interesting than that doctor since I couldnt predict Yule's twisted mind at all, he was sick in the mind. That doctor is just another seme full of himself who enjoys playing with people who might start to treat people he sleeps with as people for the first time in his life once he falls in love. the scramble to get the chapters out quicker than everyone else seems to be affecting the translation quality
