i can’t believe there’s so many ppl complaining about the flashback episodes being long?? it’s almost as if the author is trying to explain mc and dragon’s backstory + their complex relationship + the conflicts between everyone + goals of key characters + etc… you guys would not be able to handle real slow burn tropes at all, have some patience for storytelling omgg!!
these are weekly updates too, and the author can only put out so much of the story and art at once. like let’s use our critical thinking skills for a bit and understand that writing a manhwa AND drawing it in time for short deadlines means the chapters are gonna be shorter- which means, say it with me, the story can only progress so far with the small amount of time the author has to produce a weekly chapter! yay we passed our first critical thinking lesson

This is called "writing a masterpiece". The author is telling us a story and she's doing it in an outstanding way. If what people want is to see lovey-dovey moments between two characters only, then maybe they should read something else ? Not me telling people what they should do or should not. Just too bad they can't appreciate a good read for its worth ╮(￣▽￣)╭

i check on this story every once in a while to see how much worse it gets for the main character. and i think it’s so nice of the author to do a scheduled hiatuses in order to give leon’s mental health and asshole a break #gayrights (if u couldn’t tell this was a joke)

the way kim dan is starting to like jae for no reason is SO FUNNY TO ME. u would think jae showed some redeeming traits at this point in the story, but all he’s managed to do is demonstrate how greedy/uncaring he to everyone, especially kim dan. dan has been sa’d, disrespected, shown no regard for, taken advantage of because he’s poor, etc.; but i can’t believe all dan saw was jae’s work ethic and got all soft from that like bro’s standards are in hell im cryinggg

i really like how junipe doesn’t get super stressed or overthinks about how the story has changed. like there’s a lot of isekai where the mc gets anxious about the storyline going off track, but junipe is taking responsibility for what she changed and sticks around rather than tries to run away/be distant

ash has trauma yes, but he’s still his own person. he didn’t like to be sexualized by old ass, pedophilic men who preyed on people. sexual abuse does not define him. ash bragged about the girls who liked him, and doesn't mind comments that he’s sexy/hot or desirable by people. y’all are making it seem like individuals who have been through SA are incapable of having safe, consensual sex or cannot find themselves attractive
im sorry but seeing suwon slowly putting less effort into his silly and happy-go-lucky mask is extremely devastating. it’s so sad how vercion is further traumatizing him + reminding him of a past he’s been trying to escape. looking at how silent suwon was this chapter, his blank face, dead eyes, and the way he held himself in the end actually made me cry. i wish he realized how much the king + his attendants care for him, but ik it’s not easy when you’ve gone through such violence/betrayal from ppl you placed ur trust in. im really rooting for his happiness and hopes he gets justice for all the suffering he’s been through :(
