Taehwan has internalized homophobia,, he’s not homophobic to others (that was Dojin’s assumption) and previously I thought Taehwan was bullied in America for being Korean (which was partly true since that’s what Taehee believes) and a lot of racist remarks about East Asians are that they’re feminine so that equals gay(? It's not that he's in love per say, only because he's always been interested in Sangwoo and wanted to be liked by him like everyone else. Then he realised that if he left an extremely bad impression, even though Sangwoo would never ignore him again he would come to hate him forever and he'd never get the positive friendly relationship he wanted from the start .

I’m conflicted on the MC, bc from my pov I don’t think his ex was “wrong” in what he did, for a little over 4 years he went around searching and grieving over his lover who vanished, he didn’t know if he was alive and just ignoring him or dead in a foreign country yet he still had faith. He slowly destroyed himself but finally found new “love” and moved on. I get that for the MC he was in a coma and was stolen 5 years of his life but that doesn’t mean it was okay for him to barge into his ex’s life and demand the life they had together back especially after he’s moved on and restarted his life with a new lover. Seeing him clinging onto him was pathetic but at the same time, they’ve known each other all their lives and to suddenly have that take away from you is unfair, especially without proper closure. That’s why I’m conflicted bc I don’t think either of them are in the wrong but it was annoying seeing them walk around in circles, I’m glad that in someway they got the closure and finally ended things. Now the ex’s new bitch is fucking weird and insecure and this is just me but i think it’s stupid for ppl to push their insecurities to others, him wishing that the MC died instead of coming back, him being so closed minded to the MC’s perspective and being ignorant to the fact that the MC and the other dude has known each other their whole lives and were each other’s one lover was also fucking annoying.
