I already knew how their story was gonna play out but still,, seeing that made me cry and the fact that now Akio is dead they’ll never be able to live out the lives they wanted even if it was through old age. And alongside with the fact that their families became rivals and they barely saw each other (if I remember correctly I don’t think he even saw Akio before his death) and that shit makes it so much more painful, knowing the person you love is so close to you but the fear of seeing them again will only make it harder for you to part later on.
