The way dazai’s brain works I have no words hes always like a thousand steps ahead, even if it seems like he’s behind its part of his plans. Like having Akutagawa not take either sides but to jump in and help in one crucial moment instead of jumping in from the start was god tier. Also when Akutagawa came in I was screaming when Chuuya shows up (I feel like he’ll either come to save the boys or Dazai himself) I will most likely pass out. The main couple are adorable and I love them so much. But the second couple, idk something about childhood friends with the “bright outgoing and stoic cold but actually sweet duo” are my favorite and the way the brown hair one is so smitten over blondie is adorable. Imma be honest I don’t think either of them are in the wrong. Blondie isn’t selfish honestly how else would he react? They’ve been friends for 10 years and at that point he thinks he already knows everything there is to know about each other but one day his best friend confesses. He even waited and was willing to talk things out and get an explanation but instead all he was left with was a note and the “lets forget this happened” situation and then all of the sudden his friend is openly “in love” with him, of course he’d be confused. But at the same time I don’t blame the brunette, they’ve been friends for 10 years and even though he fell in love from the beginning to blondie they were just friends, it must’ve been nerve wracking, painful and exhausting to keep that a secret and scary when he accidentally confessed. He’d also feel like he’s burdening them with his feelings or that he’d lose whatever remaining relationship he has w them but after hearing about the main couple he decided to try his best to show him that he really does love him. Anyways in conclusion I’m excited for their development

I just recently read fools and I liked the story, now that it got remastered I can see the minor changes in the story (nothing that changes the plot so far but their conversations are just a bit different) I still don’t know how I feel about the art style bc I like the full color pages and the character design but it looks even more like the love or hate characters than in the original fools so I’m a bit traumatized from the love of hate characters...

When I first started this I didn’t know how I felt about it bc although Bexan was human the fact that he’s a wolf and a wolf at day just really made me wonder how they’ll go on about their relationship but as I continued to read it wasn’t as “furry” as a I expected. The storyline was amazing, Bexan and Minsuk’s storyline was lighthearted and adorable but Leto and Ein’s was much more dramatic and thrilling. When Leto first described his relationship with Ein to Bexan I figured Ein was cruel and forcing Leto in the relationship since he was the one to kill the most “important” person to Leto and Leto mentioned if him being with Ein was just an animal instinct but later on I realized what he meant was he saved him and the “animal instinct” thing was what his previous lover drilled into his mind. Their relationship also gave me Ash and Eiji vibes (and the banana fish plot) but with a happy ending. This was well written and not cringey at all.

I mean I hope Yahwi is the one Jooin ends up with but I’m really hoping for Cain to swoop in and make Yahwi jealous and realize, yes you do have romantic feelings and yes you need to do a better job at showing it bc Jooin already confessed and told him he’s okay with being sex partners bc he likes him and want to be close to him while Yahwi is just taking advantage of his feelings whether he reciprocates or not. I also wish Jooin would stop being so clingy to Yahwi and being there every time he gets a bootycall.
