They're human literally. The usage of "inhuman" is not literal, more to show how far removed from normal humans they are(emotions, the way they think etc.). All S classes are humans that have insane amounts of power, their mentality can't keep up with the power so they all come out unhinged, the brain can't handle it unscathed. You can think of it in a severe mental ilness way lol. Also the brother isn't the element, he harnesses it though his contracted fire elemental Irin(the lil lizard)
