I haven’t read this since January 2023 because it affected me so much. I found myself feeling genuinely terrible while reading it. This is the first time a story has made me this anxious at the thought of reading it again. Even after a couple of months. This may sound dramatic but I’m not in a good mental place and this shit is false hope after false hope. Great writing and art.. just depressing asf. I saw this on a list and thought I’d leave a comment to recount my experience. Literally the most depressing shit ever. No I don’t think I’m ever going to read it again but yes it’s written well. From what I remember. Don’t read if you’re trying to recover from depression, anxiety, or any other shit.

Most of the other comments I got the spoilers from didn’t have tags so I assumed the comment section was a space to talk about what’s happening in the story and what may happen because this is an adaptation.(it may or may not be faithful to the original in some aspects)and I thought my first sentence was enough for people to notice and stop reading. Yes I was the first person you saw talking about possible future events but there was no need to complain about it. It’s not that deep but I do apologize for not adding the tag. I’m not dropping it just because of the romance really, I think my tastes have just changed after 3 yrs. I like stories that either set out to be a romance or that stick to the character’s story with no romance side plot. I’ve been holding back on dropping it for the last couple of months because I had invested so much time into it but I realized I was just disinterested now. The random pop up romance was my last straw ig, it’s a super small thing but that was just the moment I realized I didn’t care to read any further. I also don’t get why ppl are so invested?? People keep commenting “that was the the most romantic line” “they are meant for each other” hasn’t she been in like a couple of chapters? Isn’t it kind of sudden, I mean they’ve barely interacted? I’ve never seen this many comments like this

yeah i get what you mean :/ especially abt the romance in this particular one, its honestly not very romantic and also seems kinda forced, and like you said she's only been around for a few chapters. yeah she is an interesting character but she just really doesnt feel like a fleshed out romantic partner. i also get what you mean about taste changing lol theres a lot of stuff i started reading a while ago that im still reading but im not particularly invested in at all anymore or stuff that have changed so much from the original genre that im not sure i even like the new genre (( ﹁ ﹁ ) ~→ lookism) but yeah

yeah srry its honestly a really good story other wise and a lot of other readers will tell you that they dont mind/like the way the romance developes but tbh to me it just seems really forced, its only in recent chapters tho so i do suggest you still try and give it a read, who knows maybe you will be one of the people who don't mind. i havnt really been enjoying the entering-stories arc that much but idk yeah its a great story other than that

Villain to kill and Her Summon are pretty good, im not sure if they fit the genre you're looking for tho, i have to look at my lists more later. Her Summon has kinda hints of romance but its well thought out and it doesnt effect the rest of the story, (its completed too! tho it ends on a cliffhanger kinda? a good one tho) the mc is kinda goofy tho so if you like serious mcs you might not like him... again idk if those fit the genre you are looking for, sorries. i can come back later with more that fit better! idk how much later tho hahah (￣∇￣")
There should be a harem tagI usually avoid stories with harems but the mc is too interesting so I can’t drop it.. just my personal preference but yeah. Still a great story lol

Not really.. :/ it was interesting watching him wiggle his way out of tough situations but at this point he has like 7(?) female love interests and a kid. The story would be great if it wasn’t a harem. :( But instead of being about fighting/being a cunning villain it’s about him avoiding conflict with and manipulating his multiple love interests. I’ve already read so much so I’ve just continued to read every update. But I think I’m going to drop it now. You might enjoy it even if I don’t anymore. It’s just a bit too much for me.
