I feel like this is mostly on the author honestly, because you're telling me Juheon left for four years and Dohu's still behaving the same way he was when Juheon found out why he got close to him in the first place? No retrospection, no actual growth, nothing ? Why was the time skip even necessary then? We could've just continued with the original time-line and have them makeup after they've solved their issues, and it would've been less messy. Where is this even going?
HARD AGREE WITH YOU. People are really forgetting the initial story line. Juheon was always reluctant to get close with Dohu bcz he was afraid of letting someone into his walls exactly bcz he didn't want to be betrayed. He finally let one person in (Dohu in this case) and that one person goes on and ends up making him betrayed the same way he was afraid to let anyone do so. Yes he didn't mean to do it but Dohu KNOWS Juheon. He KNOWS his man's overthinking tendencies and he still apologised only half-assedly, let him go just like that and after all the time skip, people are still behaving as if Juheon is the one who should apologise when there is still no clear understanding and action taken of the situation from Dohu's part. Maybe he understood his wrongs, but he still acting as if he did nothing wrong. He HAS to be sincere to get through to Juheon when he can clearly see that the man is trying to run away from the situation and is again closed off. He's trying to bulldoze into Juheon's walls again the same way but the situation is messy rn unlike their initial meeting and he has to understand this. They had a VERY messy breakup bro. I adore Dohu so much because he's too relatable of a character to me, but hey, we should understand where he's going wrong with all this as well.
And also I'm pretty sure Juheon is also trying to protect Dohu from his aunt as well somehow.
