I like how the characters are so complex, and the art is very beautiful too! Definitely going to be buying all upcoming chapters!!
At first I was a bit worried because the uke annoyed me a bit (though I also understood him), but I like that he realized now his blindsightedness, I hope they can communicate better and work it out. Shame he's not a masochist though, I wanted more thorough s/m scenes heh (btw if antone knows a good bdsm yaoi where the uke is an actual masochist pls let me know!!!)
A bit of random info for those who don't know much about bdsm:
The seme here is actually quite a good dom. (not perfect but eh)
He made boundaries clear right from the beginning, explained the importance of a safeword and had proper aftercare, asked the sub how he felt afterwards and took care of his wounds etc. I also liked how he mentions that the sub need to feel in control of the situation, which is 100% true. If you feel like a scene is not going how you wanted or start to feel anxious or scared, then you need to know how to put a stop to it.
I'm saying not perfect because imo he should not have been involved with such a newbie in the first place, or at the very least should have tried to be extra attentive to make sure the sub properly communicated to him how he felt, but the sub did lie about being interested in learning and liking S/M etc so that wasn't completely his fault. Also you could argue that since this sub was a newb the dom should have explained to him from the beginning of each time what they will do and ask him if that sounds good, but I get that that's not necessary and for many it spoils the mood, and that technically this is still a webcomic so things like that don't need to be 100% realistic/detailed, and for all we know this did happen in-universe, it's just not shown to us.
An important tip if any of you wanna get into bdsm:
never ever go for a dom who prefers inexperienced/real young subs. Always check, ask around, figure out how experienced someone is, who he had scenes with or who else is/was his sub. Events called munches are good for that. They are basically a way to learn how your kink community is in your neighborhood. The dom in this manga mentions inexperienced subs are troublesome; what he means is that they are less aware of boundaries and communication, which means that a dom needs to be extra careful around them (afterall, the dom's job is usually harder). But, a bad dom will use that to their advantage to push them beyond their limits and do whatever he/she wants. Afterall, if you don't know the rules of the game, if the other person cheats you can't notice. Especially if they present the rules distorted to be incredibly in their favor. So, always make sure the person you are doing your first BDSM experiences with is super trustworthy!!!!

I appreciate you taking the time to post this and I hope anyone curious about it reads this post. Because a lot of people watch movies, porn, read books like this (although this one actually shows a good example bdsm, etc) and just romanticize it and take it at face value. They don't do any research of their own, even though it's not difficult to do so. And then they think they're ready to be a part of this community. And that's how people get hurt and then kinks like this get a bad name. While it helps, it's not up to authors to educate you on things like this. They are writing fiction at the end of the day. Even if the the things they write about exist in our world. So no one should ever read a book and go off with that limited "knowledge" and call it a day. So people like you who take the time to write something like this in hopes of keeping people safe and informed are far too few and vastly underappreciated -^_^-

ah that's very sweet of you to say, thanks :) I just know that the people here are for the most part relatively young, and I mean I was 19 too not long ago, experimenting and being a naive newbie, and I almost fell for some very shitty doms' charms and promises multiple times. I'd rather this info be somewhere around a manga like this that depicts a d/s relationship no matter if someone reads in full or not!

Thank you for putting this out there for people! Readers aren’t often in these communities and cultural depictions like 50 Shades are awful representations, so education is vital.
A story on here with fantastic representation of BDSM is My Partners Tastes & Fetishes. I can’t praise it enough. Also an extremely healthy relationship! And the art is fantastic.

ok so this manga is cute but am I the only one who hates it when we pretend in manga that women have no sexual urges but men have such terrible ones that they can't keep it in??? What the hell do women have sex for then??? Only to procreate???? (I mean unless u asexual but clearly Aiko isnt). And then he says he wants to wait till marriage while they live together.... It's not that I care about smut, Idgaf about that, it's just really annoying how Aiko just has 0 opinions on all of this whatsoever and just goes along with whatever that idiot says, I mean you're 28-29 years old woman!! And the virgin is Shibuya not her clearly (she did date in college). So why can't she just open her mouth and say "Actually sex is fine it's a beautiful way to express one's love and I'm into you too so yay!" She NEVER takes the lead in the plot to progress about anything, can't she take the lead in this one time too?
I'm just so annoyed when (female) mangaka showcase this delusion, it's such a harmful stereotype. Of course men can control their urges and of course women have sexual urges, jesus christ... what kind of precedent does that make for a teen girl's view of the world??? That rapists were just dudes who "couldn't keep it in"??
And then what, is wanting sex as a woman bad or something?
Idk why I'm blowing up like this lol but these people are supposed to be in their 20s and this is very bizarre and disappointing. And it's not even funny... Also him being jealous of his brother... what? I thought you understood that love is not only hetero since Kanda confessed to you. Are you going then to be jealous of all the women in Sensei's life too? I can't.. I thought it was really nice that Kanda had feelings for Shibuya since we rarely ever see that in hetero romance manga and stories in general, but they just act like everyone's hetero anyway. Also, am I the only one who would be insulted if my sibling that I hadn't seen in years hated me all of a sudden because I met his gf? This whole new arc is very bizarre and disappointing to me...

i agree with the first two paragraphs of ur comment. the hetero thing was kind of unnecessary to mention, (although i get ur point), jealousy is just something that every human being experiences (whether you like this or not). some are more jealous than others and some are not at all, you don’t rlly get to be mad at people for this lol, if you can’t stand people like that, that’s okay; but do know that people like that exist. jealousy is also an emotion that (at times) can be childish— which is okay, i don’t see the need in shaming others for this, emotions are valid just as much as jealousy. it will only start becoming unhealthy if someone acts upon it.
weird read but quite funny
I died at the charlie brown guy lol
