I feel like that whole bottoming thing was almost homophobic ngl like what does "being a man" have to do with being a top or a bottom?

I think I get where this was trying to go but I just think talking about what's "natural" in a homosexual relationship is basically looking at it through a heteronormative lens. The "feminine guy" is a bottom because he's more like a woman and the "masculine guy" is a top because he's the ACTUAL man.

I mean, to prove my point, why do they still talk about how the bottom is technically a virgin? Virginity being a weird ass unrealistic concept aside, of course it doesn't have to do with penetration.

I think it's fair that 2 teen boys don't have the vocabulary for these things, but this is a gay relationship depicted by a straight person who is quite oblivious to what gay relationships are really like and it's very obvious and it's the type of yaoi that gives yaoi a queer-phobic name.

btw tappytoon isnt as expensive as lezhin (which is friggin expensiiiiive), it's more affordable so I'd recommend throwing a couple bucks for your favorite authors there!

You know, my story is nowhere near as heartbreaking as Sehyun's, but I connected to this a lot. The heartbreak. The paranoia that somehow this is all your fault. That no matter what you do you will always be tainted. The nightmares. Your body becoming this foreign, alien thing. And more than anything the constant fear that, it will never get better. You will always be stuck in that shitpuddle while everyone you love is moving on with their lives, making you feel like more and more of a burden everyday.

I don't usually read stories like this they hit way too close to home, but sometimes, when the mentality behind such experiences is expressed well, it feels cathartic.

To all of those that have been down there, you are not alone.
