Woof this was a ride, but hey the lesbians need their dramatic stories here and there! If there was one thing I didn't like it was probably that the romance felt a bit rushed. Like... I like the slow burns a bit more, the fell in love from one day to the other if ya know what I mean.
Also drama is great and everything but how le fuck does everyone know each other???? Pffft

Honestly I mind that the seme is underage and the other guy is like 25 more than the incest XD.
I mean the story is good but why the fuck do we have to throw logic out the window for it it to be good??? TT__TT
I mean in real life this would be textbook grooming but gaaaaaah whyyyyyyy goddamnit why can't we have a normal heartwarming story about coming out without INCEST or UNDERAGE FUCKING. And again... Idc about cousins fucking as much, as long as there's consent I don't find it icky. I just wish he was like.... a college student or something. Is that so hard?????? GAAAH

This is one of my favorites. I keep on coming back for a re-read throughout the years and the two of them are just so endearing. Kunieda Saika is really good.
It's funny that this time as someone older it made me reflect on my own relationships and how far I've come with people I love. I could relate to a lot of their issues and flaws. The characters are quite multi-dimensional and real compared to most yaoi and BL, you don't find that often.
My only complaint has always been the heteronormative lens through which Kento views the relationship (like calling Akira his bride and in general projecting hetero dynamics), but that's also his own peculiarity and flaw and is part of his character so I can't really say it's a problem for the manga as much as something that bugs me off specifically.
I just love these two so much <3
Very well written!

What a missed opportunity this could have been a much longer story that went well and the ending made 0% sense.
I mean whyyyy?? I don't get the reasoning behind that ending. AT ALL. It felt more like the author found a stupid excuse to kill her off than that it did anything to the story. Do we need to kill off our sapphic love stories when they are already so few??? Ugh what a let down
... all stories were so meh.
Also what do yaoi mangakas have against women jeez all the girls in this were on purpose superficial and fickle, only cared about men and said mean things.
Also the weird stereotyping of French people.... And I get that it's from 2000 meaning fujoshi were in denial about THE GAY and dudes in most yaoi and bl were like "TOTALLY NOT GAAAY", but why the fuck all these dudes were into dudes yet they all only dated other women or assumed the other guys only dated women etc..And apart from the library couple all the others lacked chemistry...
Ok rant over lol I'm just so done with 2000s clishe's it really was the worst yaoi decade...
