Yeah I was expecting more than what I have just read.

I don't care if it's similar to Liar Game , I don't care if it's boring or not , I don't care if it's right or wrong .

And yea , I do agree that it's kinda similar to Liar Game which Liar Game is better . Even so , I don't agree when you said ''don't mean agreeing to play in the game with such shabby logic'' . Because even tho this manga seems out of logic , it's still based on reality . Little games like this are played with people all over the world and all the time . Even I would play such a game . I mean , ''no harm no pain'' , right ? A game like that is normal and got nothing suspicious about it . Except that it became real .

However , I still find this 'SCM' thing fun . Unlike Liar Game which is forcibly played (at first) , this game is a game played willingly . LG doesn't allow us to have people as out slave . That's why I like this SCM thinggy .

Life would be more than just fun when you have slaves .

But it'll get boring sooner or later .

don't really remember this much anymore, but I wasn't talking about the game's logic. I was talking about the characters' actions not making sense, aka their entire actions are mostly driven by the "because PLOT" logic instead of the "oh we are humans let's THINK" logic. If people willingly want to get into messed up shit that's fine by me you can make a manga where people are into that and make it work well, make it separate from our reality, there's nothing better than writing a story, making a world of your own, where ppl be messed up and that's their thing, but the way the characters' logic is founded, like how he just randomly decided to get her to help him or their whole conversations, everything was off, like someone was trying to simulate human interaction but didn't know how humans interact. Imo, also called shabby character build. That's what doesn't make sense, humans don't interact and make decisions the way these characters did, and dude was not trying to assimilate a different version of reality, that wasn't the problem.
It just felt off and "dumb" to me.

If you like that or if you have no problem whatsoever with characters interacting like the person who wrote this has never spoken to ppl before in his life and has never made smart decisions to know how logic works, then enjoy, but I don't get why you are trying to convince me that this is fun, I didn't say it wasn't I just wrote my opinion a while ago, you are not affected by it, your perception of reality is different than mine, for all I know the way these people interacted in the first chapter is how you speak with your friends everyday and I just haven't met anyone yet who is like that and that's that.

Humans really vary and if I say so myself I'm crazy enuff to actually agree to that game (I didnt read this manga yet tho so yeaa I dun really know much but I happened to stumble upon yer comment and just wanted to state my opinions too.) It all just depends on our tastes and perspectives. You might find this illogical or sumthin' or even dumb but to others its really brilliant and interesting ヾ(☆▽☆) I still have yet to decide whether if this satisfies me or not since I haven't read yet. But this manga caught my attention and I really love psychological (all the more when its really messed up) ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Believe me, I've been in situations where some people were so dumb and inappropriate and illogical that even I forgot how I was supposed to react because all I could think of was how to respond when nothing that came out of their mouths made sense and I had to focus to remember how to make sense myself. ALL I meant was that the characters looked really dumb to me because there was no convincing motive in my opinion for their actions, they just did shit "because plot" and the dialogue felt awkward. I'm not even gonna go into the whole "this isn't psychological so it's ok" point, just like what you like, I like yaoi with fucked up rape shit, do you see me going around trying to convince people to like those too? NOPE. I find this manga very interesting and I love it and it just got to me like...so what I love is dumb? how I compare it is like..someone who is working so hard on what s/he loves and was constantly thinking of it as awesome only to be known that others were only thinking that his/her love for his/her passion was dumb. Get what I mean? The fact that you said "someone would be dumb enough to take part in a game", I wasn't implying that you said no one is dumb to play this but I meant that some people would think that they were in their right minds agreeing to play and they were taking it seriously while you were thinking their seriousness as dumb. Btw I really have read and I think its very good. It's strategical and the smarter, wiser, and quicker user of SCM wins. It somehow reminds me of Death Note where L and Light competes for their definition of Justice.

This manga is popular for a reason that a pearson who couldn't even be bothered to read the second chapter wouldn't understand. The story does start off a bit too cheesy and too unrealistic but you shouldn't judge the whole manga based on the first chapter. Unlike most manga, anime and books it doesn't begin with a great beginning only to slowly decrease is quality, it does the opposite.

The characters might seem unrealistic to someone who prefers generic characters but the characters are mostly why this book is so great. First of all that guy's ex girlfriend, the one who is mostly unrealistic isn't a recurring character so you don't have to worry about her annoying you. All the characters have diffrent personalities and develope trought out the story. Some of them become selfish and cruel in oder to get whatever they want. Others develope a strong sense of justice and try to put an end to this. This characters might seem unrealistic and fake at first untill you realise that there are many people like them in our word.

Also this story is well throught out and have a good story line that goes at the right pace. Writing stories isn't easy. I would love to see you try. Making a good manga is even harder than that.

okay, fair enough, it's not right to judge a book just by a second chapter. But I didn't rate this manga or give a full scale review or anything like that for that purpose. I just said the premise and setting looks dumb. But you are right, I shouldn't maybe speak so definitely just from reading only one chapter. At the end, it's just a random opinion derived from reading one chapter. Don't put that much importance to it. Also, I don't know why you think I like generic characters lol, I'm not really the type to go for those. If it's about manga in general at least and not when it comes to yaoi specifically when sometimes I go "Hmmmm, I feel like reading a teacher x student with naive uke spice to it yaoi today ლ(´ڡ`ლ)"(this is a very random example hahahah), which is when I look for stereotypes specifically, but I wouldn't say that would be my cup of tea.

But that being said, this isn't a story that is my cup of tea, so I don't think I would give it another try now that I don't have a lot of time for... stuffs. And saying that because writing stories and making good manga is hard it's okay for someone to write a stupid story chapter is a very thin way of reasoning, all jobs are hard, you don't hear people saying "oh it's okay if what you made doesn't make sense, you have a hard job after all!".
At the end, the mangaka doesn't give two shits about my opinion, because like you said, it's pretty popular, and that's cool with me :), I haven't even read it much, I just wrote down my first impressions. And I might not be a writer, but I'm an aspiring artist so I wouldn't say I'm ignorant of the hard work and difficulty of making something original and good.
