the fucked up family's normal within that fucked up circle. i personally believe the mum's line of thought & behaviour is very aligned with privileged & rotten, dysfunctionally odd families. tbh, aside from the whole soul swapping shenanigan, i think this manhwa reflects reality the most compared to others that dabble in some sort of kinda supernatural, important/heavy topic with some comedic undertones. i think the author did very well in highlighting the seriousness of these issues while reflecting how it quitely passes in reality. not every case goes viral, even when every case is as detrimental to the victim. not every case gets its loud moment to shine in court, not every case even gets to see that there's an end to the tunnel like in this manhwa. hell, the most unrealistic part about this manhwa, the soul-swapping, is practically the only reason why taekins was able to escape from complete loss & helplessness - which again, reflects reality where you need one silver of a miracle to get your own justice, no matter the method

it feels so unsatisfying. i rambled so much but it's 4:19 am rn & i realised it was non-sensical, but it's j so unsatisfying. i'm unsatisfied by jaeha's reason to refuse imprinting, especially because kangmin's side of the story made it feel like jaeha has his own issues too that he refuses to talk it out & work through it with his partner instead of idly waiting or j acting on his own. & i don't want to have to impose realistic standards of trauma on jaeha alone when this is a comedic story about people with superpowers & monsters & someone literally died & have their bones broken every 2 days. no one else is given grace to be accorded to realistic standards, so genuinely jaeha shouldn't be either

firstly, i want more of this omg. i LOVE how each chapter doesn't really end on a cliffhanger. it makes following the story enjoyable if it's updating, or you could pause reading with ease of mind. it's also j a lot lovelier & soothing on the heart that each chapter doesn't give me heartburn for the next with angst/drama
secondly... the drama it DID give made my blood boil, omg. i really disliked the girls who were scouting his room, then taking a picture AND sharing it around... even if it was j to find out who. ntm the audacity to STILL ask who the other guy was right after apologising for stalking & sharing his photo...? while rumours about him are STILL going around? & i get homophobia's normal, but the AUDACITY of it all is j appalling
glad the misunderstanding's cleared up but i'd seriously combust on the spot if i was jigu. good thing all he did was j cry
