Fuck. Seeing this scenario drawn in the manhwa makes it sting in a different way from reading the novel. But it still hurts the same. I can't do this, dude. I don't think my heart's ready for THAT scene even though I've stared at BB-nim's art plenty times.

My heart fluttered... This is tough. As someone who initially rooted for Hyakkei, I really couldn't help it. Maybe I'm just messed up and colorblind Idk, but he seriously looked so cute to me this chapter. He def wants solo time with her more than anything, but knowing Shinra might feel uncomfortable alone, he chose to go to the beach with Rai and Kanan too. That was really nice of him. But then again, he almost called her a b*tch and just stopped because he thought it'd make her angry, so in a way, it seems like he has been thinking that way about her—which I didn't like. :((
So, it's still my best boy Kanan all the way for me!
On the contrary, I'm not sure if I'm overthinking but the manga seems to be hinting that she's feeling things for all three? Maybe we're going down the reverse harem trope or a poly? If not, I feel like end game is gonna be Kanan or Rai (who she showed interest in first) at this point. Hyakkei just gives major cute 2nd ML vibes for some reason which is probably why I initially rooted for him too. 2nd ML Syndrome kicked in maybe.

SO CUTE AAAAAAAAAAAA I love when the ML is straightforward with how he feels and is just as pure about love as the FL. The mutual pining in this manga is just written so good.
