I understand ml's hatred for mc's ignorance so much but somewhere along the road I sympathized with mc shit got me crying at 2 am
If his hatred had stopped at a feeling it would've been understandable, but he literally abused her for no valid reason and humiliated her constantly, there's nothing understandable in that.

His hatered for fl ignorance and privlllage is not justified. People can't just choose which family to be born out of. His anger is misplaced.
He had more than two years to talk to her and make her aware of the reality she was living in outside her bubble. He had her trust, so she would have listened to him. He had more than two years to understand that she wasn't oblivious on purpose, she was sheltered at her house and social circle. She doesn't have internet nor the media we have to know the problems outside her neighbourhood. You could say that she could have made some research but how would she come up with that if she didn't think that problems like those could exist. Like she believes everyone lived in peace and happy because she didn't find any hint for the opposite.
