You know this was my favourite manhwa and I really liked FL but I am still not happy the way she treated the prince and moved on to the Duke . Knowing her , she could have just tried some other way in which both might have met a happy ending .

she didn't move quick to the duke. her feelings developed to Duke when the duke show some kindness to her that make her feeling squishy to him and they interact way more than she did with the prince, who only interact with her because of work,work, work. nothing more than work. they are boss and employee. and that's what the prince treated her too as a subordinate when the fl is not attach to the duke
also fyi. the fl didn't choose the ending for him. she's not the one who choose their ending but the prince himself. when the prince learns the truth about the kingdom and her past that they become experimented for his sake to be alive
the prince test the fl to kill the duke. he know that the fl would failed to do it.he choose that so he can easily severe their relationship.
he choose to stay away from her because he will be guilty on his life, if she still near her especially for what his father did to her/them

Oh yeah you are right but still the situation could have been treated in a better way . It was the prince who made FL who she is today if it was not for the prince , I believe she would have end up dying due to starvation somewhere . I don't think someone who did so much for you should be betrayed the way she did . I mean if I were at her place I would have surely told the Duke if he could work it out together with the prince or if the prince could work out together with the Duke . Well the fact that they both were fighting against tthat alchemist is something that was common . yes there are many ways to dealt in that situation especially if that leonard didnt out of nowhere blabber some past of the girl to him(this part is definitely rush) . prince and her won't be in that situation because the duke already want her to be OK on both side . but that unexpected event of him getting eternal sleep and prince learning some past of her that affect their relationship. the prince severly cut her off on her life to atone the sin of what his father did. even though it his father fault for not thinking other solution without no one hurt but he didn't do so instead he Cooperate to them which led to people of lecappulone province got killed (y the duke want to revenge for the alchemist) and kidnapping case
just like what leo told him. meeting of them is not coincidence but planned alrdy to be his guard without him knowing. and him raising her as to what she is now cannot compare to her past and gonna be in the future because of the effect . she got experimented. her family die because of the father of the prince choice . (not only his family but other people related to the duke people of lecappulone province where she live in the past) . her memories with her family are gone. she can have happy life in the past but because the incident happen she can never know it or ever be remembered. she also unable to bear a child/pregnant due to the side effect of the experiment.
and the duke calling her as her people is really true because from the start they are in the same people on the lecappulone province before the tragedy happen on their life. and her being back to the side of Duke again is better than staying her in the kingdom which the reason they dont have family, place and memories of them .
do you think that the prince would like it while the fl is still around him? their relationship cant go back again while he know something. he will have guilt on his life to what happen to her in the past even though its not his fault to be alive in exchange of many lives.
they also def rush the ending on that part that the fl didn't chase the prince or talk back maybe because she already knows their difference status as him as crown prince and her as subordinate of the kingdom that she obey and agree for the prince leaving her behind instead they make her be move on to what happen and wait for the duke to be wake up.
the prince maybe got the bad ending on the last chapter but i know in the future. they will interact again and when that time Duke and her will have a problem of bearing a child. so I don't think that this chapter is alrdy a happy ending just because the duke alive and they are happy.

Well I am really happy this happened. I was starting to get tired of their fantasy world which was far different from the reality.
