I get what the author was trying to do, but it didnt work. The seme is clearly still unstable and sure things are going good now but what if he finds out he killed the cat? Or if he cheats on him one day. Will he snap and kill him? The fact that I needed to ask that question is why i didnt like this. If it had been a story about the bar owner it would of made it into one of my favorites ever I'm sure.

I KNOW RIGHT?? that shit is fucking traumatizing. holy shit. there's no way may would fall in love with him after that EXCEPT if may was just THAT fucked up emotionally. which just further proves why this story didn't work—the seme needs life and prison and may needs psychiatric therapy. them ending up together is just unrealistic (even for yaoi standards), romanticizing, and frankly, disgusting.

I love this story, and the chemistry, the fluff and how it was executed (plus big ukes are my fave). But fuck me if the uke didnt look like either a specific person, or a type of person that just subtlety irritated me. I feel like I can almost match this human being to his face and the feelings of displeasure directed towards said person just had me going every time I looked at his face. GOD IM SO IRRITATED

Like idk yall I get that he didnt want to have sex in his work clothes or film a sex tape but they barely get to meet and they were going on a trip and hes gonna waste a whole day being mad about something petty like that? Like sure say no and you dont have to give in but you dont have to be a dick either. If my boyfriend acted like this for an entire day just because I was pushy about something he didnt like, I'd be legitimately pissed off.

Sheesh, its your prerogative how you'd react to such a situation. But, don't expect everyone to react as you do, and shame them if they dont. He was uncomfortable, so let him vent. He might take a day, he might take a week, but so what? They eventually made up, their relationship is getting even better, so why you so mad?

You look at this from pretty one-sided perspective. He wasn't "being a dick", he has every right to be pissed off at a partner who kept insisting on something really uncomfortable for him, and openly express it. When a person says "no", the other person should back off immediately, or not be so persistant about it at the very least. Many people would react the same way Haru did. I would have reacted the same way as well; in fact, i was in a similar situation, was also pinned down against my will during that, and i really didn't appreciate being treated like that at all.

I would consider your situation far more severe. He was not pinned down, and could have stopped what was happening at any moment, like he did. He just didnt want to partake in that form of kinky sex because he was uncomfortable. That's totally justifiable. What's not, is freezing someone out without even being willing to talk to them about why they're mad. Again, they see each other every 4 months or so. He wasted precious time being angry at someone who didnt even mean to make him mad, and then didnt try to do anything to remedy the situation. I consider that to be a dick move. If you dont, fine. But I'm not looking at this one-sidedly im looking at all the information that was given in the story, weighed both sides, see that both sides were wrong, and decided to state what nobody else did, that I disagreed that him freezing the seme out was some "self empowerement" move. I think it was a shitty thing to do, and he should not have reacted in such a way.

But he didn't though, he was simply non-responsive and that is completely fine. For relationships/ partnerships/ marriage, there isn't a fixed manual to them, each is unique and different. The most one can do is respect personal boundaries and have an open dialogue. And if the way the uke dealt with his anger irks you, that's fine, just say it does.....but you didnt need to add the labels by calling him a 'dick' or 'petty'.

If they were simply stating that they were mad at how the uke handled the situation, that's totally fair. I just don't agree to the labels the uke's being a 'dick' or 'petty'. Esp on mgg it's become quite popular to criticize characters for even the slightest misstep, they're only human and they all react differently, no need to get riled up.

Yeah see that's the bit you're not getting. "He was simply non-responsive and that is completely fine." ....according to YOU. I dont think that is completely fine. I think it is petty (also petty is a descriptor ) and if the word dick pisses you off so much, fine. I think he was "being terrible" or is that a label too? And like I said earlier, it's not your place to decide what is or isnt ok and then decide that its law. I said I was irked, I said why, and you come in to respond with "why you mad" and talk about shaming people (which I never did tf?) for having different opinions? You can love what he did all you want dog, but I dont, and I'm allowed to say it with whatever words/labels/descriptors that please me. That's what freedom if speech is, and im not hurting anyone by doing it so i think the question is, why are YOU mad?

I see where you're coming from, and I agree with some points of your statement. Mangago comments are very, very aggressive. But we really can't help it, people will criticize what they want to. Like how you're criticizing with person for thinking that Harukiyo is a dick for acting the way he did. That's just what they think. They've stated that they love the story, what is the problem. Although using the word dick, is also kinda of an overreaction in my opinion. That's what they think.

1. Awesome we have chapters, but someone was hurt in the process?
2. Did the translators not want their shit shared anywhere or just shared slowly?
3. If they didnt want their stuff shared no matter what and wanted it to be some dirty little secret? I really dont understand why translations teams get like this. Follow EXR scans lead and just share christ almighty. The powers that be are not gonna throw you into jail for something petty like this, grow some balls.

Korean mangakas or webtoonists are much more active on internet than japanese or chinese ones. That's why only korean webtoons that are being hidden on different sites. There are some webtoon that got deleted from this site because the webtoonist found them here. Putting their works on this site is harmful for translation teams. Why are you so sure to think they wont sue tranlation teams if they found out their own works got translated and distributed illegally?

I've said this before on another thread, but my dad actually worked in the book industry for a while as an intern because he is a copyright lawyer (or something like that, not sure if theres a more specific term for it but I can absolutely look it up if someone is curious and would like to hire one for such a case) 1. No way Korean mangakas make enough to prosecute something like this. 2. I am absolutely not doubting that we are harming the authors when we do this, I'm talking about the triggered translators. 3. An international case like would take YEAAAARRRSSS to deal with and would likely end with a slap on the wrist such as a 1000 dollar fine. 4. Absolutely NO WAY they would track you down unless you were stupid enough to put your full name, number, adress, ect online. And if you wanna make it even more safe, just use a VPN while on those sites. It would legit take an expert hacker to figure out who you are with a VPN and theres no way they could legally obtain that information. I cant make you trust me, but if my word means anything at all, I PROMISE yall that there is no way that group would see backlash from this. Especially if they just delete the translation site and start somewhere else. Easy peasy and you dont have to put up with scathing emails from angry authors.

1. The person who leaked it didn't even bother leaving the credits so all their hard work was just stolen without any proper gratitude. This happened to the translation team months before when some asshole posted their hard work on mangago.
2. The reason why they wanted it to stay on discord is that the original authors of the manhwa won't know that their work is being illegally translated. The invite is refreshed every day (before the leak) so anyone of the members could let their friends in. All the translators ask is that they keep it in discord. That's all.
3. Why is it so hard for people to understand that they're not keeping this a secret because their stingy af but because they WANT to keep translating? They'll be forced to stop and we won't have any more to read. I've got cash to spare so I can actually read the official translations but there are a bunch of kids online that don't have enough money to read this.

I've seen a few scanlation teams that had to drop projects because they've been spotted by the author or the company in charge of the english translation release (*cough* i'm looking at the people in charge of golden sparkle, even stalked the scan team's tumblr) so it's not impossible for it to happen.

I get that it was pretty uncool to not give credit, but I mean... it's still stolen work, it's still illegal. I mean, they steal from the mangaka by translating (dont get me wrong i understand, i was a very poor kid once) but then get mad when someone steals from them? Wheres the logic there?
Also you're saying that they would let anyone in? Or just select people? That's where I'm getting stingy and entitled from. I also addressed the fact that they wont need to stop because of this. They can either restart somewhere else, or deal with threatening badly translated emails from an author... that they are STEALING from!
I quite frankly, dont think I'll ever be able to understand how someone can do something wrong to the author with good intentions, and then have a reader do something wrong to them with good intentions, and have the audacity to get mad?

Arent the scan team nice enough to do it for us for FREE all they ask for is to keep it on discord it's a different story between author => scan team and scan team => website from translating and cleaning The scans team are doing all of the hard work for all of us to enjoy and they genuinely have good intentions to share the author's work is in a different language and it takes forever for tappy toon to upload imagine seeing your hardwork being stolen not being credit and all of that can you stand that? I guess a person like u won't understand till it falls on you. Mangago intentions aren't good intention at least the scans team will say "please support the original author if you can."

Man it seems like you're not understanding, you bring up some good points but yes the scan team does it for free, for the people they decide they want to read it. Sucks for the rest of us that dont get allowed in. So not only are we not allowed in their exclusive club, but then they ask for help to pay. So what happens if I donate, and dont get allowed back in? Sucks to be me i guess? Also how is it different? Explain to me how it's different from the scan team stealing from the author and the reader stealing from the scan team? Because the reason you gave was "The scans team are doing all of the hard work for all of us to enjoy and they genuinely have good intentions to share the author's work is in a different language and it takes forever for tappy toon to upload imagine seeing your hardwork being stolen not being credit and all of that can you stand that?" Which is EXACTLY WHAT THEYRE DOING TO THE AUTHOR. Imagine the authors hard work being stolen, imagine the author working hard for all of us to enjoy, imagine the authors good intentions to spread their work abroad so that international people can read it only to get STOLEN. How on earth is that hard to understand? Also, whoever uploaded it here, also had good intentions. They saw the many people complaining about not being accepted into the translation group, not being able to read the books, and decided to share it here. Just like the scan people saw many people unable to read the books due to the language barrier. Yall need to wake up. Both parties stole, both parties hurt someone. One deed isnt worse than the other just because you're upset and decided it should be that way.

I totally agree with what you said! (Though they could never prosecute) but I just find it hilarious that the translation team is somehow seen to be morally in the right compared to the reader who did the exact same thing as if they couldnt face the same repercussions for spreading it. It would be sad if they have to take down their translation page and they truly have my sympathy for that
I'd kill for some extras, the story was perfect but quite tortured so I wish we'd gotten to see some stress free happiness other than that 2 page ending
