This is what moving on actually looks like. Not that bs authors do where someone keeps going back to the ex and still has feelings and the Manga is mostly about the ex until they finally choose the new guy. That is such a bs trope and this was a good depiction of moving on and still having unresolved baggage despite trying to move on.

This is going to be a rant. It appears I am the only person who thinks the MC is the most entitled, irritating, worthless POS. I read the spoilers, and if what they say is true, I'll come back to read this again but for right now this MC literally fucking sucks. she fills me with so much rage. She endangers and causes problems for everyone around her because she "doesn't want to do anything". Let's recap what she's done so far hmmm??
1. Doesn't give a shit about endangering people. she always goes places she's not supposed to and brings danger into town and puts herself in situations where people have to lay their lives down to protect her. multiple people have almost died because of her and she makes no effort to improve or repent.
2. Doesn't give a shit about peoples' jobs. She has knights and many other people lower on the food chain that are affected by her actions and could get fired and lose their jobs and lives but she keeps running away and showing no regard for people.
3. She's an entitled POS. When the mercenaries literally SAVED HER LIFE and spent their food and money and transport on her she still didnt even want to help cook or when they were fighting to save her life she didnt want to join in the fight until they "paid her to help" also never went to go pay the commoner for the fruit she bought even though she's rich and the commoner clearly wasn't. She was even going to take money from her knights and never said anything about paying them back. She treats the king , THE KING like a subordinate (because you know she's the greatest and everyone should bow and listen to her) I'm glad he put her in her fucking place. Imagine meeting the president of a foreign country and then DEMANDING he gives you what you want.
4. Has ray go and eat and take things that are important to people like the mithril sword or stealing gold at the shop or just whenever someone pisses her off she'll rob them of all their money. Who cares if they can afford to be robbed? They made fun of her so apparently that's a crime deserving of losing their wealth.
5. Treats her spirits like shit. doesnt care when people stab or try to hurt ray, in fact, she has personally slammed him into a wall just because she was mad at something. Never says anything nice about him and just expects them to serve despite being treated like shit. Thank god that Ice Spirit dodged a bullet. the only one with good treatment is undine because she is cute.
6. honestly I could go on on how despite her multiple near death experiences and having people get seriously injured for her she doesnt give a shit and not answering her parents who care about her and her stupidity of knowing she's weak and in danger but not doing a damn thing about it, but im fucking tired. her list is endless. I'll wait until somebody breaks her and she finally decides to change before I go back to this because wow... i just... i just cannot fucking stand her

I feel like for once, this was a death I could accept. Traffic accidents happen, and while tragic, it's pretty common. Dying from drinking to much, or sacrificing yourself for others or having an emperor single you out are just not really deaths I can relate to. I truly felt bad for the poor FL and I'm glad she got to say goodbye to her family. Most don't get to and I just always wonder what happens to the parents. Hopefully this helped everyone move on. On another note, I'm pretty sure my mom would kill herself if I died and contemplating this fact has left me filled with fear. Why did I put this useless scenario in my head? Only god knows

I like sir tozen better. He fell for her sword and in both forms and is literally willing to move heaven and earth for her. He is also able to accept no for an answer. I know she's going to end up with the prince and that's fine, but the author made a really likeable opposing character and it's a shame. He's so devoted to her personality that it hurts

I almost didnt read this because of the comments but it was perfectly fine?? 4 stars! nice and sweet and everything was cleared up and wrapped up nicely. sure we didnt get a wedding or children but thats for an extra showing their future, not main story. It was a nice, uncomplicated, straightforward manga. nothing too deep or dramatic happened, just good vibes. I recommend! <3

I'm very stingy with praise but this has to be one of the greatest works ever written in manga. The characters and the relationships between them are above average, and the story is very interesting to keep up with but the MC... The main character amazes. She actually self-reflects and strives to improve without dwelling to much on her faults. She's talented at what she does and it's not considered "odd" for a woman. I'll admit I struggle relating to a lot of women in RL and especially in manga, but she was written up like a male character you'd see. I love that. The only other author I've ever known to make such relatable and inspiring female main characters is Tamora Pierce. Props to whoever the author is. This is the only manga where I'd actually like to read the web novel if there is one. I truly love her.
