Even videos and zoomed in interpretations of facial expression, proximity, and behavior. I dont even want to join the conversation esp when i dont know things. But it's that savior complex that goes beyond helpful concerns...just fanning the flames and adding their own interpretation, too. Ugh. The life of an idol indeed.
I expected so much more from an adult. I guess ghosts just lock on the one thing they regret the most. But let's say he doesnt give af about the body he possessed, then at least be fcking reasonable instead of "dont tell the teachers" when u were just being a hypocrite saying the whole set up is childish and u know u cant fight a whole gang. Being a webtoon artist and being deusional is just... Like the daughter is going to be cornered more and more. the plot is plain "no braincell comedy tryna use sappy sentiments to be grounded somewhat" in the five chapters i just read ugh
This is so out there and superficial but i was so bothered by the hairline in the original art that it becomes the first detail I latched on before I read that hella long announcement.
Storywise, i appreciate the growth he went through painstakingly even when people dont seem to fully get around his "loss of memory" and the fact that he did sort of loss even some of his original memory. Also, I didn't think it would take a more conveniently paced revenge in terms of not remembering shit until he learned about compassion and valuing his family. And now, he is still slowly building his network. Kinda way too slow but also just right haha
I believe in the power of block and report. U dont qrt to slapback and let the world boost a POS, you slam that down to protect your faves and then make more and more supportive tweets or posts to drown the hate. Fans who joins fanwar are antis in the making coz often, they'll attack that hater's bias and it's downhill from there. Being a multi fan makes it all the more difficult coz u cant even enjoy your idols interacting without losers raining on your parade.
Im excited for how much moondae will be ahyeon's pillar coz of how much he cared that maybe ahyeon would breakdown again huhu ik his intentions are less than pure coz camera and hovering death warning but positive effects are still positive in the end
It's so freaking wholesome and bittersweet at the same time. Like seven years marriage and more years of wooing and love—and it's only after an accident that Chenzi can be more upfront (and albeit embarassingly) with his feelings. Like look at him pull of a domineering yet doting personna and spill his secrets in the most roundabout and creative way?? And somehow I'm a little disappointed at Yanyan but I guess we universally take what we have for granted when it's all we ever know.
Ps. It's all an extravagant role playing game and the whole world are their audience HAHAHAHA
But guise it as her own strength. I call BULL. She told that blonde her birthday was when them flowers bloomed. That mailman even had a touching sentiment about when u want to get those letters. The damn duke was so proud that she finally didnt let herself get hurt! And poor Isaiah had to be lied to FOR WHAT? For that blonde to maybe scold or warn her that "you follow what others say" which she denies but SIKE " how bout u ask ur mom?" And of course all the strength she had already shown dwindles coz the ML said so and they need some flimsy connection out of her birthday WHICH AFTER SOME USELESS MASOCHISTIC TRAUMA DIGGING SCENE AND FAKE ASS "goodbye, mom"— we conclude to her birthday being the same thing she said, WHEN THOSE GODDAMN FLOWERS BLOOM (that her bully had told her in her past TF?). Istg. That arc was so fake that i just wished that blonde was never written and Melody just wedded Loretta in the future. Coz what in the synthetic shoujo nonsense was that?! Isaiah was so damn cool but oh, lets have this weird ass siscon steal his thunder
So whatever. If its gonna compromise itself for some useless romantic "connection" then I doubt it'll be any different for the appearance of a tsundere boy and all that useless angst
The whole point was that Melody still had questions for her mom but decided not to ask because she didn't want to be hurt anymore. Understandable. Completely a-ok.
What ML was getting at is that her mom is going to die. This is Melody's last chance for closure of any kind (such as to find out her birthday, etc.). He doesn't want her to regret not asking in the future. Its essentially not getting hurt rn but having regrets vs getting hurt now but having no regrets. Arguing this was accomplished when the elders brought Melody to see her mother is a fairer argument to make than calling the whole situation bs.
No one is wrong here. Both boys want to help Melody in the way they know best, for Isaiah that's protecting her feelings and for ML that's growth to face what's in front of her. ML questioning if she's sure about not seeing her is comparable to making a decision you're not 100% about because it's the easier option rather than the one you want and you're friend going "ok, but are you sure you won't regret this?"
Isaiah is only portrayed as wrong because it undermines Melody's growth and severance from her mother via her own will.
I still find the whole situation bs because of the details. U've got the general motivation, esp what the ML is going for but that's not how the scene plays out especially when melody, as u also know, has concluded about her mother's situation during that elder's arc. That birthday motivation remains to be so needlessly rounabout and im aware ive been so emotionally charged about that coz holy fck, all that emotion and it concludes like that?? And yeah, id rather have ML not say anything like "you follow what others say" coz that is so fking dismissive of all the conviction she had. Maybe what i hate the most is the arc was ultimately used to put the ML in Melody's space, it's especially true when she left the jail and its the ML waiting. It's true that it's for melody's development but who tf is the ML who's only ever shut doors at her face, make her copy notes to leave a name but did those notes hold value to her, would u call that an actual accomplishment? In the end, my annoyance is the details that went through this arc that even if i agree with you with the author's intention, the details that annoyed me piled up and i just hated the arc.
Coz to me, it's so fake. Especially since the ML suddenly held so much influence to Melody's choices and actions and the accomplice joke sounds more like how it feels reading this and having no choice but deal with it coz ive already read it.
I'm wondering if some of the frustration is a translation issue or if you don't like ML (which is fair).
ML is a typical eldest son noble so the indirectness of his actions is expected. Conversation is a war and any weakness (emotion) can and will be used against them. He is also still a child and didn't like Melody at first. Petty? Sure. But then he shows another side. Her copying notes may have started petty but helped her feel like she belonged there.
The Elder arc gave Melody the insight that her mom Wouldn't change and this current one was great in that Melody talked back to her and shut her down. Melody really shows she's not taking her mom's bs anymore. The enjoyment of that scene is ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
It's the flow of it all, honestly. The details just had me frowning more and more.
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ i've long cooled from the emotionally charged sentiment i had. But contrary to your enjoyment, i was boiling LMAO. Can't really bring myself to keep reading
(Do spoil me if u end up reading it until completion HAHA)
i understand moody's pov, especially regarding the bit where ML says "you follow what others say" because ... that's such bullshit ? and it is also just contradictory with what he was trying to prove to MC ?? like, i get the point, he said it to give her some sense of self-agency but ultimately it just took away all of it, because she ended up doing what ML asked her to do ? that whole arc just seemed like it was sooo forced and pushed on MC ,,,, left a rlly bad taste in my mouth;;;
And its getting into this "let's make this guy so irrationally inconsistent but maybe hint that he has such a justifiable reason for being an asshole in the past like idk, suicidal and mentally unsound". It's like playing with you to feel bad about jiwang coz he was ghosted and then here he, qiboyan, comes six years later forcing with jiwang's attention without explaining shit.
@43. The more it adds details, the more it derails. This whole jig didnt match the whole argument that happened and qi boyan is becoming more and more frustrating than pitiful. It's like, what narrative are even pushing? Im not even rooting for anything just that i wish he'll leave jiwang along if he's gonna be like this. But because jiwang apparently have feelings, he's not going to let go!
Anyway, i dont think i'll enjoy the next chapters coz ren ran is like the common btch you'd rather not have in ur life but jiwang, again, keeps him in arm's reach. One thing that i dislike about Jiwang is his attachments (also coz its relatably frustrating) It's like having clouded judgment just because something had positive impressions despite their toxicity or his own want to let go.
More than the reason, which i do know he has, it's the conflicting details of what the MC said happened early on to what he is saying actually happened as the past gets unraveled. It doesnt feel so cohesive so the probably reasons is becoming more like convenient emotional elements rather than "that makes so much sense"
The 24th..or the 48th? It just didnt make sense to call out the ML for not reaching out to him for 6 years and he'd ghosted the MC but then say something happened with ren ran, that he was hospitalized and ML was tryna patch things up, and he broke up with him on ML's birthday. It's like a 180 from MC just misunderstanding ML to confusing details to what happened...and the characters already annoying me more and more. Most because of MC's indecisiveness. ML's ambiguity and sweeping it under the rug. Then there's the Side character messing things up so blatantly. ┗( T﹏T )┛

Tsunderes are always a hit or miss, but this one is just plain annoying. Idgaf for her "didn't want to be ridiculed" motivation when she does it beyond being aloof, she's the childish standoffish type that would look down at you not out of self preservation but condescendence. No Dere just Tsun. Heck, both "arrogant" and "rude" are negative coz she persists to be so and i have to sit here while he works with her annoying ass attitude which even Kang can't handle.
