Am I the only one who wants red hair to be endgame? It just makes me sad they like each other but feel like they can’t be together because of the red hair’s family situation
i mean, i politely disagree with u, i think most people dont really like red hair/want him to be endgame bc he's a douchebag lol. like, i get what u r saying! they would work so well togheter if he quite literally didn't rape the MC or coerce him into sex at all times, or just overall being awful to him. if it wasn't for this side of his character, I'd share your same opinion ^^

the redhead is definitely obsessed with mc in every way but i’m not seeing anything really towards the redhead from mc’s side. i think mc just lets him walk all over him bc of the debt he feels towards his mom. i definitely dont think either of them realize how obsessed the redhead is tho.
Mc def has some messed up feelings for redhead but I think they're not nearly as strong + he knows that's not a real option so he's trying to like black hair (I hope he succeeds)
Oh the MC is 100% in love with the redhead, he's just very good at pretending. Of course his reason is because of the relationship with the redhead's mom, so he has sanitized himself of any feelings towards the redhead to protect his heart from wavering. It's also the reason why he's messing around with the black hair, to keep his mind free of his romantic feelings towards the redhead. Of course we all know this never works long term and his carefully built wall will come crashing down soon enough because matters of the heart can't be that easily manipulated.
