ahhhhhh this was so good, nothing too stressful (Oh wait no that's a lie I spent over 10 chapters begging elvin to use her favor with the princess to break her engagement with the knight captain, but felt so elated by the fact she used the princess' wishes for so much more than the stress practically melted away) and the ending was quite satisfying, though I am still slightly worried about the fact that elvin now has to support the queen to protect herself and loved ones.

I think fuan shian (new emperor) was a child of late emperor before the killed emperor, so he basically a brother of the killed emperor and that's the reason why he could freely talk back and make his way as a new emperor.
The manor could be counted as rewards and they still had a fortune from company fan ren/leyfa made. Remember they were branded as traitor and decreased so fuan shian only could do this much. Also the reason why Zan family was chosen as an "example" was likely to the fact that in therm of rank and power, they're a second-in-line with royal family and taking a count the death of late zan family head (shin father) due to offending the emperor so it was make sense to choose the Zan family to act as the one who do the rebellion (and for the sake of progress tho).

like i kind of get where she's coming from kind of but I also just think she's stupid af for desperately trying to convince people that's she's not Jade Kinsel. She literally reads isekai novels???? I think anyone who reads isekai novels would have enough sense to keep their mouths shut after the first couple times of being unable to convince those around her that she's not the person they think she is. Also her appearance and world is completely different which should have helped her differentiate her own world and old appearance. Like it just feels like such a stretch.
The viewing everyone as just book characters at least makes sense though, probably also a coping mechanism. Either way I'm just glad she's finally getting her head out of her ass and is finally like oh this world is actually real life and the book is not in fact law.

That's what makes her a complex A complex character and that's what makes this story interesting If she just assimilated like all the other Female leads from all the other stories.She would be boring and this entire story would lose So much of what it is. She's struggling with her Identity And all of this is progressing quite naturally and she's been consistent as a character. Your complaints so much it's annoying
