I actually kinda DO agree with it. There are lutterlally no other "acceptable" alternatives for Eldians. Zeke's plan is bulsshit and the others are only focusing on Eren right now but say they deal with him, then what? there's way too much hate for actual peace to be acheived without bloodshed. Major change always has to go through major "reasons to change". Destruction is necessary for rebuilding, death is necessary for rebirth. Eren needs to destroy the world, use his scream to make people (other than Mikasa and Levi -if the latter lives-) forget, and start anew. That's the way I see it.
P.S: I think Levi will die and by the end, Only Mikasa will remeber everything and that's why she's the one who'll say goodbye to Eren in that sad farewell scene we see in the first chapter (Itterashai, Eren)

I think there is, as shown in AOT and also in our modern world, whoever controls history controls the masses. For those on the main continent there is a general fear of the Eldians and specifically those on the island BECAUSE their recorded history tells them to as well. This fear is something that is passed down from generation to generation creating the cycle we see. Part of the problem with the racism we see is this distinction of other, that these individuals were dangerous in the past and that we cannot even ATTEMPT to see each other as equal, only as hostile groups. Yes Eldians can be dangerous, yes those on the island are dangerous, but do they choose to be so out of their own desire for danger or a drive to survive? They do what they are doing to survive and to protect those they love. That is something that needs to be conveyed to the other countries, it just becomes politics then.

Those on the island have bargaining chips, their fighting capabilities, their natural resources, Eren, the Titans in the walls. Politics in manga is boring and having Eren go ape shit on the world is just more interesting so I get why isayama chose that ending but it isn’t the only option. Racism and hate is taught, undoing that is something that would take generations and obviously Eren wants the quick and easy way to his freedom and his friends freedom but those on the island had more options. Now Eldians in general is more complicated because they’re caught hating their own people group and being hated by their nation. They’re gonna have to either become their own nation state or choose to side with one group or another (Marley or Paradise) and with how they act they are def better off becoming their own group. Their problem is that they have nothing to contribute to other nations, they have no essential trade items or valuable knowledge or design. They only have the Titans which Paradise is proving to be more adept with. As such, realistically they would be shoved to Paradise and the Island would have to back them for long enough until the Eldians in Marley got themselves on their feet. Then it’s all just politics.

Basically what I’m saying is that Eren doesn’t have to kill everyone for there to be more peace. He has greatly proven that while technology is advancing and the age of Titans may be drawing to a close, the gap between man and Subjects of Ymir is still huge. People like Eren and Reiner are compromised because they see the good of both sides, they see the good, the bad, and the evil everywhere. But that’s just human nature, you can’t kill indiscriminately when some people fuck up because everyone fucks up. All you can do is try to prevent people from getting into situations where they are coerced to or need to fuck things up.
