I feel like atp i soldiered on just cause i didn’t wanna give up after wasting my time 30 chapters in, but slavery? Child trafficking?? WASPS??? This feels like a joke cause how does it keep leading to a romantic subplot like can we please focus…（−＿−；）all this to waste our time (SPOILER from the novel from another commenter, i’m not sure how accurate it is) since it will apparently take till chapter 150 where the ml will finally realise his feelings. The fl takes even longer i believe(?) Regardless, the duke makes me scream in cringe and annoyance everytime i see him. He’s such a dumb character and his annoying ass blonde mistress (whatever her name is) is so irrelevant and unnecessary, it’s painful, she is only here to make our boring fl look better in comparison. Like she has barely left any sort of impression or done anything actually.
I’m only sticking around to see her gain confidence to eventually slap that duke or smthn cause her getting pushed around 3+ times now is not it. I still believe in her that she will fight back eventually, i’m just letting her cook trus… now that she the emperors aide n all that. I need to see him have his balls kicked in by her or sOMETHING, ANYTHING ATP PLEASEEEE. The fl just takes every sort of abuse thrown at her from anyone and constantly needs someone to step in otherwise she just gets pushed around and tripped up like cmon mannnnn. The only “Yes! You go girl!” moment i had for her is when she broke up with the duke (TWICE) and that’s abt it (the third time was shambolic cause he shoved her and she fell like damn… n no one helped her…? Where was that loyal emperors guard at this time? Mans fell asleep on the job or what???). But yeah, only twice in 56 chapters already… if she had any other moments, sorry i forgot cause it really has been a hard read but guess what?! (^_^) i love to torture myself and despite writing this long rant, i’m still gonna continue just to see that duke get an ass whooping WOMP WOMP. ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ

I don’t know what i was expecting when starting this besides from it being a typical transmigration, villainess story but it’s oddly refreshing and has a decent storyline! The characters aren’t overbearing or over the top either and the plot is an easy and steady read :D Really enjoying this so far!! I can’t wait for future chapters!!!
The FL isn’t a pushover either who is getting grabbed at and stepped on like a doormat 24/7 and it’s also nice to see that the storys OG ‘FL’ isn’t secretly the villain or harbours bad intentions towards our FL <3 (i can already sense a blossoming friendship and im here for it!)
That being said, i’m not really looking forward to finding out about the FLs and her brother Biological father and id rather see their current family dynamics. I also couldn’t care less about the redhead 2ndML (which is very unbecoming of me since i love redhead 2ndML charas, but ig this one is just boring and annoying)
