This is going to be a father-daughter story, between both dads and daughter (athy and Jenette). It seems Jeanette grew on readers who used to dislike her, so maybe there will be change? Claude was supposed to regain his memory long ago when Lucas returned from his quest to find the world tree, so that brought us far from the events in the novel. Yea, that’s useless. If he is gonna end up with her, I want her to be strong enough to match him. I already don’t like romance in action, and when the female lead is basically useless it gives me more reason to hate it.
