It’s just so Ianna to not cry in that situation. She’s already grown but she is still learning the small things that contribute to a fulfilling life. I’m glad that in this moment, she finds herself at ease to run to...(forgot his name) after recalling and repressing her anger towards her father. She hadn’t fully recognized her feelings in the past so in this present life, I hope she comes to fully embrace the “happy” in front of her.

Anyway. Could this detective (I don’t even remember his name) be the man Hayan was trying to rescue in the very beginning?
Here’s what I think: The group of vampires (who I assume is being led by the pure blood blonde) is some sort of rebellious sect that overtook Hayan’s progenitors. That blonde who was recruiting a hypnotist was probably some contemptible half-blood eager to rise, greedy for power, to be queen, to be the “goddess” of this empire of vampires. To become full-fledged, the blonde needs pureblood and so...the first thing was to take out the strongest faction which were the “white haired pure bloods”. Hayan is the only survivor. She could’ve lost her memories due to a spell or trauma.
This pure blood named “God” must’ve been some friend or foe who purposely planted the “lions” who’s fates are intertwined with Hayan’s on her journey of eradicating all vampires from her beloved human world. The blonde female vampire with her troop probably try to control these lions or think they do or actually do but “God” is behind her actions...maybe. “God” must have some plan within another to manipulate Hayan into achieving her goal and his goal: revenge on the white-haired purebloods. Or.....he wants total domination solely but I don’t really see that happening. Though I do wonder, how is “God” able to appoint these lions? Each lion was given a sip of pureblood blood therefore increasing their stats but through all the fuss, their main purpose is to help Hayan unlock her TRUE POWER. Each “challenge” awakens her natural vampiric self which she has either forgotten or been casted asleep.
Now...this red-haired detective...(seriously what is his name? Too lazy to go back) is also a vampire. This known fact was already being predicted by most readers. I’ve been sus of him since the beginning. No human is THAT “perfect”. His family was killed by vampires so from that I can draw three predictions:
1. We don’t know if he’s a half or pureblood. He could’ve been a hidden vampire orphan raised by humans which is why he loves the human world and wishes to eliminate all trace (I even thought that at the very end, it’d be hard to decide who would die first? Would Hayan kill red guy or would red guy kill hayan?) His birth, his origin could be a big secret, a whole trump card that I can’t really think of what exactly. Something like that.
2. Someone commented that red guy could BE an Angel of Death...so imma add on to that by saying red-haired detective could be the pureblood “God” in disguise. First off, he admits to fully utilizing Hayan for his own therefore successfully advancing in his big plot for revenge or vengeance. Second, he apparently knows a lot about the vampire world and “vitamins” for blood flow??? What?? He’s aware of how capable Hayan could be and recognized her quickly.
3. If I remember this correctly, Father Michael was almost a subject for half-blood experiments during or after his military service. But the experiments were disturbed and probably “lost” due to the disruption of the vampiric specie(s). Could red-haired detective had been a secret/stolen/hidden/escaped test subject therefore the emersion of “blood circulation vitamins for vampires”? (Unless I’m dumb and these have already existed irl) But still. So he was a test subject and his family were the “doctors and scientists and other patients there” so he is on a quest to discover and kill all those vampires who murdered the entire facility.
But there are many flaws in my predictions. Who is the person sponsoring red-haired guy? Half-bloods usually were once human so are they able to grow up and “age” just like Hayan did? If so, then red-haired guy could be the same...or not. The man sending loads of money to the detective could be his human support. A responsible and respectable detective at the age of what? 28 years old? He could’ve been like that for a long time. Or...he’s the son of “God”.

I can’t wait for the moment when Riftan discovers the true nature of Maxi’s family and the severity of the traumatic life she led before meeting him. His reaction as well as Maxi’s reaction will be interesting. I’m looking forward to her happy ending.

Right, right! I also hope (considering how much he has held her) that when (if) she gets pregnant, her mental condition doesn’t affect her pregnancy. I pray that she doesn’t displace any of her own trauma onto her own child. If they have a kid, I surely hope that they never introduce the child to her family. Her family might ridicule the child of being born to a “stupid, inept stutterer” or manipulate Riftan using the child to get rid of Maxie. Or the King doing something unworthy of his title...Idk just me being excessively imaginative haha
What just happened? I literally can’t process this. I honestly like the idea of Jaehyun moving forward in his own life with a new start...the father and son are both of a horrible past. Jaehyun could’ve become a music teacher that taught little kids and lived quietly. But o mean...Seojin is okay too. But whatever lol
