It’s just a drawing. In the novel he’s said to be more beautiful than a woman but Ines herself said Carcel’s face looks better than the artist’s face. Basically, Carcel is better in every way.
Before the manhwa was ever released, one of the Korean comments on the novel said they would hate if the story was ever turned into a manhwa because they didn’t think it was possible to draw Carcel as good as he’s supposed to look. That’s because Carcel’s looks are admired everywhere he goes. I keep wondering what that Korean novel reader thinks of the artist rendition of Carcel now because Ines in the novel is more known for her voluptuous bidy and Carcel is more known for his handsome face which Ines herself says in the best in the world without borders.
In the novel, even the crown prince has a much bigger part than the artist. That’s because the artist truly has no connection to any of the characters except Ines in one timeline. All the other characters appear in every timeline because they’re part of the same world. So every time the world restarts, the same characters interact in the same way except when Ines changes it because of her memories like other FLs.
