In sentinel and guide trope, their power is not like avatar level and there're no RPG elements like in esper-guide. You would find them having ordinary professions. But the difference that stood out the most between both tropes is that in sentinel verse, usually spiritual elements (e.g. spiritual realms or spirit animals) are involved, especially in the bonding process
