I think it's coming to a close soon. If you remember, the original goal for Tis was the make the Emperor completely alone and have her husband on the throne. She's almost there. The noble faction is almost defeated or on the run. The Empress is on Tia's side, Duke Roygar is dead which means the emperor only has Cedric to look to to inherit. All Tia and Cedric need to do is protect their child and the noose on everyone else's necks will get tight.

What do you mean, the plot is all over the place?
The plot of this story was a political battle to get a man on the throne, and that's what has been happening the whole time. If anything, this story kept moving forwards on it. Anything else was always secondary.
The plot is very much on point, now that finally Artezia's web of little seeds is coming all together.

I said what I said I know exactly what the plot was that’s why I read it in the first place you can’t tell me that it’s not all over the place in regards to the pacing. There’s no consistency having a politically plot is one thing but jumping from one part of the story to the next without context is another

Where do you lack context? I know this story is long and complicated, and people who have been following for long might have become a bit lost and forgotten points waiting for updates.
I've re-read a few times since the beginning, so I can connect the storyline pretty well... but let me know if there's anything I could help on.
About the pace, I'd say that no story keeps it equal throughout all. Depending of the development of plot points, pace is sometimes slower and sometimes faster.
