I’ve always liked Nilla, but I’m very glad that she realized that she wasn’t fit for the empress role. Not because I don’t think she’ll make a “good empress”, but she wanted the role so she could be the king’s lover, not the kingdom’s empress. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but with the dangers in the palace, letting your feelings eclipse your duties results in all of your family dying (as we see in the old timeline.) I’m glad she can find love this time around that won’t endanger her and her family, but above all, I’m glad she found peace.
Patricia is a great empress, and I for one, am so glad her feelings for the emperor didn’t develop until AFTER she had a good head on her shoulders. She should be thankful to her sister because her sister really did her a solid and saved her ass with those flowers.
I’m really glad that this story decided to go in this direction because I was really conflicted with Nilla’s previous feelings for the emperor. On one hand I’m sad that she lost her love, but on the other hand, her love for him got her entire family killed. I’m just glad she found peace and that Patricia makes a better empress than her sister because Patricia stepping up has kept the family safe (and alive.)
We deserve to know the backstory between Haruka’s dad and Haruka’s current father in law. Because I suspect… OK OK HEAR ME OUT. I THINK that the daughter married Haruka at her dad’s behest. She secretly knows about them, and because she loves her father so much, decided that she’ll marry him so he could be happy. Having a husband allows her freedom, and those two are… occupied. THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION. I DONT ACTUALLY KNOW.
I swear to god, if she gets upset that these two are doing the right thing and saving her life….

He actually wasn't tho. His father abused him and gave him nothing.Just enough to live i guess. But yeah, like you said he probably just inherited his father's buisness. I believe while staying in that group house he did lots of small shady things that he was ordered to, main reason he wasn't always in the dorms and explains the fact that he spoke to someone in the phone about some sort of interference, probably something about buisness.
For some reason, I don’t hate the prince. The male character I like the best so far is her dad. That’s it LMFAO. And obviously, the main character is my favorite female character in all of manhwa so far.
