i think the fundamental difference between uncle A and little A when they were running the farm is that the uncle, while with the best intentions, kept treating the farm residents as humans and ONLY human. there's a dissonance between his wishes to treat them with respect & bodily autonomy VS the unconventional needs they have as hybrids. little A seems to seamlessly bypass that.

the scene in the novel was frustrating but holy hell. i did not think a worse version of it could be done. not only did kael's actions NOT been given more thought and communication, they also nerfed Hess' reaction and monologue to make it seem like a tantrum brought on by emotion instead of a slowly building dread throughout the whole deposed debacle.

because wdym we're 40 chapters in and the main perpetrator is still on his high horse? it's dragging on so long that there's a high likelihood of this shaping up to be another Juujika no rokunin.
at some point, instead of wanting to make a satisfying story, the author starts to force an extension of their manga for profit. the narrative then begins to revolve around the typical edgy psychopath antagonist and how untouchable and diScOnNeCtEd he is instead of the bullying-revenge dynamic. it gets unbearably boring and we might go over the breaking point where the main bully dying won't even be interesting anymore with how overly convoluted the plot has been.
