1. He's leaving to rescue Mori, knowing there's a huge possibility he'll get caught/harmed in the process and didn't tell Miria so she won't be implicated in the crime & there will be someone left to take care of Mori when he can't be with Mori anymore
2. He's going to the judge to deliberately get punished/incarcerated after claiming that, yes there was a kidnapping, but it did not involve Miria taking advantage of Shalam's barrier weakening. That it was just Rider on his own wanting to make money off of Mori, which would then increase Miria's chances of winning the judgement and getting back Mori.
3. He's off to see some less than law-abiding acquaintances to help him break Mori out of feral baby jail & go into hiding with him. Possible Rider backstory reveal? (least likely)
4. (??) Fourth unfathomable option from the author's brain that we cannot begin to guess for the reader's maximum suffering

i was prepared to turn a blind eye and turn off my brain to any multiple-FL subplot, but surprisingly the webtoon isn't obnoxious about any pseudo harem aspect and seems to be taking the time to invest in characterizing the female characters well
the fact that they exist outside of being objects of affection & we're shown their childhood together, the way they seek strength, and that they can be silly like any pair of best friends is p.nice
I wanted to like this so bad and just turn off my brain for fluff because there aren't any new ones to read...
but FL is the poster child for why people began writing counter-literature against mary sues (eg. I will Divorce the Female Lead's Older Brother) and pit them against new FLs with common sense who actually value their friends and family outside of being useful and just 'someone who loves them'.
