make blake think she left because he was a hopelesss case? she already concluded the 2 weren't going to be romantically involved, the least she could resolve to do if he isn't cured (w/c we know is unlikely) is stick around with him until the end bc the kid obviously values her.
its because if blake isnt cured hed die before he reaches even adult age,, so ancia will have no choice but to leave, for blake to be cured by novel original FL. If she eants blake not to die, she need ro leave, if she cant cure blake herself. Her reasoning is very sound.
idk if it's been lost in translation maybe, but i can understand her resolving to leave AFTER blake's possible death because she did the best she could and would imply she'd still be there for him to the end even if he doesn't get cured.
but it came across as her planning to leave if she fails before he turns into an adult. how would that play out? imagine blake knowing that, or hearing it from someone who cared for him despite his curse and promised to stay with him- "i'm leaving because your curse isn't cured. now get together with my sister, she'll be able to cure you".
it doesn't really make sense bc even if ancia leaves, og!fl isn't even gonna end up together with blake. (unless she thinks blake would be the type of guy who would grow up to hook up immediately with his ex-wife's sister just because she left?)
it hasn't even been established if breaking the curse requires romantic intimacy or it's just the power of light itself.

blake wont get to the point of thinking ancia says ”im leaving bcos your curse isnt cured., get together with my sister”. He will literally die before that happen. blake is dying right now even though hes still young, if that black tattoo-like curse get all over his body, he is dead (the tattoo covers half his body already),, this is why ancia plans to leave if she cant cure him, to give her sister and blake time alone to be emotional and see each other sympathetically similar bcos of ancia's departure (BUT IT WONT HAPPEN WE KNOW) to do the deed. We all knew that wont happen as blake loves ancia, but ancia's light power is abysmal (so shes trying to learn and maybe she can cure him herself) that last part was like, her last resort if everything goes wrong,, bcos its a matter of blake's time/life
