this might be a hot take but every new chapter makes me realize how much i fucking hate how stuffed this series is. it’s ironic that so much has happened in so little time, and i hate it. at least series like Naruto happens across their lives and not just one year. if you sit down and think about it, just like JJK and Chainsaw Man, these characters are basically getting tortured in such a small period of their life that when the series ends, they all just become a shell of their previous selves and the anime won’t be fun anymore because 1.) everything is solved in such a ridiculous, rushed, and ludicrous way and 2.) there won’t be really any future for the characters to look forward to.
i don’t think these characters will ever really be as happy as they once were and if that’s me sounding like a little bitch for caring about fictional characters, so be it. if you want to argue about maturity, don’t argue with me because these are CHILDREN. every character from every series i mentioned are children, teenagers who didn’t need to be matured and grow in a fast-paced, traumatizing way. they were just children born in fucked up worlds who needed them to act way older than they were in order to survive.

the majority of their arguments just boils down to children. like… have they never heard of adoption? they’re the same bitches that are prolife preach about “all children have rights!!” until you ask them why they haven’t adopted any of the children or fought to change the foster care and adoption system to make it easier for people who can’t have children more accessible. it gets on my nerves how entitled these people are and ignorant to what the actual root problem is. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

to add on to this, a lot of homophobic people argue that adoption isn’t “natural” considering that the children aren’t yours, but that’s also a stupid argument because why should it matter if it’s biologically mine or not? first they say that you can’t have children, but when you offer a solution to that with adoption, they say it isn’t “pure”. what they’re actually saying is that they think having children is a necessity to extend their family line; ergo: an extension of themselves, not individuals.

Good points. Notice how the dad said he had children because he was supposed to and not because he WANTED to. Having children out of a sense of duty doesnt make you right or even a good parent, they actually make some of the worst. They use that “duty to have children” as a right most of the time to control them and make decisions for their lives well into adulthood which plays on your comment about the children not being individuals, almost like they’re possessions.

this one singular line is my favorite one out of every single line said in this entire series. by far my top line ever, alongside “Choi Jungmin, the only way i can live is with you”. both lines are amazing, both lines make me fall in love with Siyun even more, both lines make me realize no man will ever say this about me.

like idk if it’s just me but it is mind-bogglingly hot when i see a man who looks… like a man. like a strong, masculine man. like i hate guys who look like guys, it’s gross - BUT MEN??? MANLY, BURLY MEN????
