Kotaro is just being nice even if Kyujo is enjoing the situation. He really loves Ayumi. Ayumi should trust him a little bit. Even if he said that he knows that Kotaro's heart belongs to him and he is it still upset about the situation.
Ayumi does trust Kotaro, I think who he doesn't trust is kyujo. All the encounters Kyujo has with Kotaro, he's always trying to fuck him. I don't think Kyujo will attempt to fuck Kotaro anymore, but I don't know if it's all a ploy to get Kotaro's trust and then he does it or maybe he just wants some sort of connection with Kotaro even if it isn't a romantic one?
