i hope you guys understand why people are reporting new chapters of this manga. the author said if her chapters are uploaded here she is officially dropping this manga. dont ruin this person career and just buy from the officials site or read something else.

victim blaming is way too common and i feel like most rape victims don’t actually get justice. i feel like this story coming from a mans experience shows a whole different story that isn’t told as often. this story makes me feel sick to my stomach at times.

there were 2 scan grps that picked this up; flex tape scans dropped it when this manhwa officially got onto lezhin (for obvious reasons). and the second group, moonlight scans seemed to have dropped it,, the rest are like insta translators Lll
every single chapter is so dynamic!!!! i love the way the author draws all the characters you can really tell their emotions and personality from every single panel you see of them. they are super talented

Was shin raped by the king? I don’t think so, he escaped that night with the blindfold with something sys put in it for the king to sleep. And he said to Wolfgang that he was his - meaning he didn’t do anything to him.
He wasn’t sold by his parents into sex slavery - the nobles were forced to leave their kids there.
He choose Wolfgang for the position and Wolfgang only acts how Shin orders and it’s all to create a better future.

I think you may need to reread the story. Shin wasn’t raped by the King and he wasn’t sold into sex slavery. When was he ever considered incompetent? Shin has been shown to be very smart and is viewed highly by others in his position as the minister of foreign affairs.
Shin was never rape, the (disgusting)king was gonna have sex with him once he turned 15 but ,I don't remember exactly but I think Wolfgang save him soo he was never actually rape but still he was sexually assaulted and harassed soo
He wasnt raped cause when the king ordered to sleep with him he poisoned the king to fall asleep and went to wolfgang. Wolfgang then marked shin and when the king saw the mark he punished shin by making him nakedly stay in the snow.
Shin used that to post that he got ill from that punishment and stayed with his father. Not going back to the king.

That's quite a ton of incorrectness you got there that the others are clarifying so I won't comment on that. What I will comment on is Shin's reason for being near the Old King. He was there as his father's proxy in the palace,not in his official position of course, but in his presence as insurance of sorts. It's hinted at the beginning that the Old King had a sexual interest in Shin's father due to their looks. I speculate Shin knew if the old king ever got his hands on his father he would probably rape him to death (not even kidding). But Shin while having his father's features was not of age. He was young enough that even a pedophile like the old king wasn't willing to sexually assault him yet (Oh god remembering this makes me feel icky.) In conclusion it was to protect his dad cause the Old King was a serial rapist who would have kept Shin's father as a sex prisoner like he did those young kids.
The king never raped him. The day he tried to, shin came up with a potion to make the former king thought the did, then he stayed bed ridden for 3 years I think. When the king was getting suspicious, the coup happened.
