i really like how they are called birdies since it really highlights the care free attitude of the men there but is also ironic since birds are meant to be a symbol of freedom and strength but the story surround phi being caged by his own traumas
this author is very very smart and i cant wait for more chapters i really love the allusions and overall imagery of this work
wait didnt they say collin was 18? in the first chapter his mom abandons him bc he’s finally 18 and wants compensation for raising him. idk why everyone is saying he’s a minor i think he’s just malnourished so his growth was stunted
