Is it just me or the art is getting pretty weird, like this recent chapter try to see the fl's face on pages with only her face there and it's so weird like the eyes are 5x big and her head is tiny with tornado ahh fluff hair. It's almost like the twink and the hunk bl but make it isekai shoujo
The art is fine, the artist likely just wanted to change it to a more “cute” and simple style.

The one started pretty good like I was hooked at the beginning but once the separation plot came, everything went hill down. There are so many loopholes as in what happened to her mom (maybe I'm forgetting this one), what exactly happened during the time they were away like at least cover 10 chapters regarding that and now everything feels rushed and our mc who I had high hopes on feels like those female leads who always needs saving from her prince charming. Doing everything based on emotions alone and even after that, not understanding her own feelings deeply cause we all can agree that the reunion was a failure where again the girl had to work her ass off and act desperate. I had high hoped ngl but now they just seem like puppets of author without any feeling with the actual story.
It's just my opinion and as I said I loved it at beginning so don't come for my ass saying rude things. You can disagree and that's your thinking which I won't say is wrong
Her mom is hospitalised and need treatment. She needs to work to afford that treatment and the easiest way is to work under na seongwon(or something like that) 's mom.
And i think she's lovely just the way she is. She's assertive and not everyone needs to be a Mary sue for a good plot
Oh yeah I remember that now. I mean she does not need to be Mary Sue for a personality. She looks like now her only personality is the male lead like so much is missing on her character.

As much as I love Penelope, I love Ecklis equally too. The story has not touched his backstory or his point but if I was in his position, after losing everything and even my nation to my owner showing fake care. Man, I would've lost my mind too. Penelope had her situation but so did Ecklis and her completely blaming him and saying he betrayed her when she was the one giving fake reassurance and trust is wild. I just think that Ecklis deserves a peaceful therapy from all the shits he's gone through.
(P.S. i could write a whole paragraph on our magician as to how much he has sacrificed and is still not getting the recognition but for now it's enough)
Yeah i also felt really bad for Ecklis at some point until he brought home the girl (although he was being manipulated). Pen was putting herself above all bc nobody cared about her but she shouldn’t have chosen a slave who already didnt have anything

If I'm being honest the second guy ( i don't remember names) has a good personality and is a well written character but the author had to make him lose his balls over the mc to drag the plotline and now it's so embarrassing. Haizz i thought we were over this plotline phase
