I agree that's what's great about the root lady is that her thoughts clearly match her words and actions, and I think one of the main reasons Izana and everyone considered his telepathy a curse is because he has to deal with looking in the eyes of people who act one way and think another...can even figure out their dark thoughts. I mean he even considered suicide at one point, but one thing that Izana doesn't realize is other than wanting to save him and Atlanta from their bad end she's pretty much the same Ginger she's always been. If he had decided to give her a chance instead of Atlanta the mental instability he faced after learning about Atlants's true thoughts wouldn't have happened because he enjoys Ginger's thoughts. But then we wouldn't have quite the same story...I'm just glad she didn't give her version of events to Izana though after he trusts her more he may find it funny!!!(⌒▽⌒)

Base only on that u can understand that this poor boy all this time has been played around like a puppet of the aristocrat faction. at the first timeline he and tia never really got to know each other even when jieun haven't been there at that time and u can understand that, cause at that time ruve harbors insecurities already upon tia and tia just focused on being the 'destined empress' even his father and her doesn't have that great relationship. It all leads to ruve as an easy target to be drug and be manipulated and also at that time his father the emperor has fallen sick already so what can u say about him listening to other people and he chose to do that? Our poor boy never once felt the love of his father and got no one to trust and truly rely on became an opportunity to the aristocrat faction for him to be manipulated and drugged and U SAY HE CHOSE IT? TIA AND RUVE ARE JUST BOTH VICTIMS AND THE PEOPLE WHO ARE THE MOST AFFECTED BY IT IS TIA NOW SHE GOT A CHANCE TO LIVE AGAIN LET US ALSO GIVE RUVE ANOTHER CHANCE AND SEE HIM ON HOW HE TRULY REALLY IS. "How he trully is"... Someone who only made effort to actually know her when he started getting attracted to her. Who would not have respected her if she was the "mature girl" of the first timeline. Who lied about respecting her wishes to break the engagment. Who forfully kissed her when she was ready to take a blood vow to get away from him. And so on... He is a bland "ice king" and never did anything good enough to actually turn her around. He was already strating with an insame amount of negative points because of the trauma and the jerk he was at the beggining of the second timeline, and the author made her go back to him because "she never got over her feelings for him in the first timeline"... Funny that you are all "He loved her even in the first timeline" to justify it when He clearly didn't. he either felt guilt or sadness at the fact that he never got to know her, but love? No way. He never knew the "true" her, so at most is would have been lust. It is like you are all assuming that "true love" don't need a reason... It is the same in the second timeline. It is clear how he eventally came to be so attrcated to her. But why did she love him? There was no reason at all. Even the vow part was after she accepted to marry him.

Also, the drug part is clearly a co-opt. First, he hated her and strarted humiliate her before the poison and the manipulation. He didn't need help for that. Then, when they were married ther barely meet with each other because he loathed her. Yet, before her death she was the only one he was attacking... Strange, isn'it? She could not fluel his anger toward her alone all the time. He should have attacked others too.

Clearly it came up from ur mouth. It's because before he loathed her and the manipulation and everything comes the second of it. That's mainly the reason why both of them didn't know each other to the point that tia didn't understand why she was treated that way because both of them didn't have the chance to know each other. and that is mainly the reason the second timeline and another chance was created to know each other and to understand what really happened. For me personally I don't care who tia end up with but my point is what the heck is your problem with the ml on the second timeline that your so caught to its past duh. It doesn't make sense cause what they are in the second timeline is what it should be and what they chose to be and here u are people like you who can't get over to the past mistakes of the charac. That's the whole point of the story is "what it would it be if she change her decisions from what happened before she died" and this is the outcome so accept it or not nothing can change the view of a person but lemme tell you being caught up of what happened in the past will just surely bring you down. Even Tia realized that, that's why she's trying to change everything she can to not end up with the same situation again but what can we do, they're just meant for each other, no matter what you say it was never the intention of the ml to be like that. It's just the situation at the first timeline ended up tangled in the trap of aristocrat factions of the kingdom that's why they ended up being that way and y'all people who don't even understand that, doesn't deserve to read this masterpiece the author created. So I don't care what u say it's ur childish understanding of the story so what can I do ╮(￣▽￣)╭

That is not coming from my mouth at all. Even he admit himself in the second timeline that he hated her when they were children. It is the very reason he negleted her in both timelines and let her fall on the ground in the first one. He didn't need help, he wasn't even talking with the bad guy by this point. You can literaly see his hatred in his expression in the manhwa. About the ML, yes, I don't like his personality at all. I was never attracted to over-prideflull and cold personalities who are only nice to tose they appreciate. However, I could have accepted the ending even with this paring. I mean, I liked Igor from I don't want to be loved, or even the freaking ML of Lady to queen depsite evything. My biggest problems with the story is the way it was developped:
- It shifted the blame to Tia who had to change when she was fine. Seriously, in the novel her personality was completly over-written. Her growth could be learning to speak out for herself but, noooo, she had to switch from a rational woman praised for her composure to an emotional cry baby who is not without remembering me of first timeline Ji-eun.
- The author relied way too much on the fact that she never overcame her feelings for him despite eveything he did to her... That is messed up.
- Ruve did nothing to really deserve Tia. Yes, he is not responsible for First Ruve actions. But Tia remember it and the trauma alone make it impossible to have a realistic love story without the ML being the best of the possible choices and doing something big to explain how the FL could fall in love again rather than just forgetteng and getting along as friends. And none of that was in Abandoned Empress. Heck, his actions could has also very much flueled resentment in Tia rather than love (as I said, lying about the breaking of the engament when he promised, forcing her to take the part of the fake fiancee when everything was over between them, shunning her when she didn't act like he wanted, taking the risk to ruin her socialy by taking her to his chamber...). They couldn't even talk properly. When he was worried she would be poisoned by the bad guys, he sent a freaking tea set withoit bothering to explain anything. Wait to go...

Just why oh why don't u understand that the time they had before never let them have the oppurtunity to fully understand each other that's why they ended up being that way. and now that they do have the time clear things up u don't give the chance the ml ruve to clear things up and see what HE IS not someone who HE WAS before, (even tia realized that) cause what he is now in the second timeline is very different from what he was on the first timeline and all of you can't even distinguish that is the whole main point of the story and why he is the real sole ML. I'm not pushing it to all of you but as a reader and as a living person it is very important to know that people have mistakes and also understand and accept that people can change even stories like this helps u understand that.

I do understand your point. But then you need to make it more realistic. What happened in the first timeline can't be forgotten that easily because Tia remember everything, the pain of the axe, the miscarriage, the slap and the shame.... He is better, so what? He had the less character development out of everyone, at the exception of Ji-eun. He neglected her when they were children, while Carsein and Allen healed her. He found out that he was mistaken about her very early one in the second timeline, so why didn't he act on it and at least send her a letter to apology for making her scarred and send his well wishes, at the bare minimum? He only acted when he was attracted to her when Carsein treated her right since the beggining (Allen is out because, well, he wanted to use her). That is already a very bad start. Then there was nothing to foster a "new love" between them when it was necessary because the little actions he had would have been creepy if she had not already been in love with him (forcefull kiss for exemple) or backfired (using her by keeping her looked up in the engagment even when Tia's own party placed a new candidate in her place, even lying about it...). All of it is why it give the impression that the primary reasons she choosed him was because she has never fallen out of love with first Ruve (messed up) and physical attraction (I refuse to acknowledge that as "true love"). Even the majority of readers that don't really mind the ending are saying that choosing him made no sense, with how the story was presented. It can explain friendship, but not love. And then, the final nail on the coffin was his POV of their married life... Have you read them yet? Because I would very much have your opinion on them, even more so when you compare what he think of her with how Carsein is perceiving her... You might find it very interesting.

But you need to understand what that says about him. Would you want to marry a snake? Just because he's kind to you doesn't mean he would show kindness to others. He may have been manipulated and misled but his actions were all him. He went as far as to kill Tia and her father over crimes they didn't commit. Let's pretend that it wasn't Tia he was assaulting. Would you just sit there and watch Ruve assault a maid or some other innocent person over nothing? That is a recipe for troubleee. Besides, if he didn't love her then, why change now. She has severe PTSD because of him and and you just wanna sweep it under the rug just because he doesn't remember?! Hell no.

I understand ur point. I'm sorry I neglected the pain tia had before even me I find it horrifying at first but what made me assured and made my opinion change was because of the people that surrounds her especially her father and also her friends who continually supported and loving her, I never once said that it's okay to just let what happened to her and just quickly accept ruve. I'm just stating that what I saw at first is not what he is now. This is what I've understand from what I've read. I kinda see it funny now we arguing with some fictional characters and a fantasy story, sorry if I ever offended you but everyone have different opinions and I hope we just respect each other for that and thank you for not cursing on me.
