Humans actually eat a lot of foods we are intolerant to/ are poisonous to us. We use poison to make medicine and we drink coffee and smoke cigarettes. We drink alcohol and I myself have lactose intolerance and can’t resist the temptation to eat cheesy and creamy foods. Why not feed him things that are technically poisons that we also eat? Like the berries is one thing (without the seeds) but what about a tobacco plant or raw garlic bulbs or poppies (with the seeds) or apples (with the seeds)? People DO eat them but they ARE poison. Like apple and poppy seeds made cyanide. Maybe try some pineapple since the enzymes eat protein and therefore tingle just the same as a poison would since technically the pineapple is breaking us down for digestion when we eat it. I just think there’s a way for him to eat his poison and for the human to still be safe… like raw vs cooked foods (some foods are poisonous to humans until you cook it)!
