Ngl… on a bad day I rate myself -47 but on a good day, I’m a solid 89. I feel like it’s kinda normal to rate people based on how much effort they put into their appearance as opposed to their actual features and stuff like symmetry of the face. I choose someone who has impeccable fashion sense over someone who has blue eyes and black hair and is tall (typically that famous actor handsome look). If you look like a slob and like you don’t take care of yourself at all (like he does at the office) then ofc people will rate you lower than when you do dress up and style your hair and finally clean the months worth of dust and fingerprints off your glasses. It makes the world of difference. I think someone loving you despite knowing what your 0 looks like and still finds you all the wonderful things they think about you when you are an 100 when you are a 0, that’s true love. If you can see their worst and still love them at that stage, that’s pure love and adoration. I think that was the important part of this story that so many people are missing out on.
Jealous or not, you NEVER tell your wife that she did something wrong when she just simply enjoyed nurturing her bond with half of your soul. If you want the same love and affection, stop pushing her away. She’s in love with the person as a whole and and both sides individually as well. But calling her names because she slept with half of your soul and making her feel less than or like a whore for simply being intimate with her own husband… that’s despicable. Ei san should be ashamed of himself and get on his hands and knees and beg her for forgiveness. What a pathetic husband he is to be pushing his own feelings of inadequacy onto his wife and making her self conscious. And he was never going to tell her until she shut him out as well. I don’t even know if I want to see him try to do better. Clearly the beast man version of himself is much more of a gentleman and much more of a faithful husband then the human version could ever be and for him to call that version names just because that side is doing something he’s too cowardly to do? He should be thankful that his wife is being loved and adored so thoroughly that there isn’t enough time for her to think of anything other than happy and loving thoughts. He should be thankful that eiji is pampering and spoiling the wife in his place. I’m tired of husbands getting mad when they aren’t doing their job and someone else comes to offer it. And in this case, it’s not someone else. In this case, it’s literally the other half of himself. It’s pathetic and it’s cruel to his wife and he needs to stop and get his act together as soon as possible or eiji needs to take over permanently so that their wife can be properly loved and cared for as a wife should be.
I now wish the sister was never brought to this world or that they never knew of her existence. I hate her and how she thinks that she has authority over what adults do in their spare time or over who her brother spends time with. If you’re 15 little girl, act like it. Stop throwing tantrums cause dear big brother has someone else he loves. As a woman myself, I’m so sick and tired of girls feeling entitled to sabotaging their brothers and male friends lives especially their love lives. It’s not cute and it’s not understandable. It’s disgusting and I wish she wasn’t even a part of the plot.
Chill, it's just like when ur parents meet new people after a divorce. She is just a kid that got her brother stolen in to another world and was scared. She is of course scared to lose him again and not having his attention anymore.

Then she can verbalise that to her brother. My parents divorced and my mum found someone new. I never once reacted how she did. This is not the same as that. And even if it was, she has no right to do it at her age. If she was younger then sure but since she wants to be a big girl and she’s 15, she gets to live as a girl that age. She’s not going to have her brother coddle her and listen to her every whim. She went through something traumatic. So did her brother. Her brother found comfort in a person and that relationship is VALID. There is no need to try to get in the way of her brothers relationships. By all means, cling to the brother but there is NEVER any reason to allow a child the ability to ruin a perfectly healthy and consenting relationship. The guy saved both her and her brother and she thinks she has the right to act like he’s the enemy? She should be thanking him for taking care of her brother and helping him save her. And if not for helping him save her, then for saving her brother. You make it sound like it’s reasonable for a 15 year old to act up like this. It’s not. It’s reasonable for her to be clingy and it’s reasonable for her to have her guard up but it’s totally unreasonable for her to sabotage her brothers relationships with other people. In my country, 16 year olds can make some legal decisions themselves and are at the age of consent. They take their final exams as well. They are able to know right from wrong and are able to realise when something is beneficial or not. They know not to be selfish when they can already have all they want. They know that you can have your cake and eat it if you want but you can’t have it both ways. If she was younger than 10, you’d have a reason to accept her behaviour as a traumatised kid but at this age, she can verbalise her needs and know who to direct it to and who not to direct it to.

This is me getting confused with hand shaking on anime and manga/manhwa. We shake hands with the right hand, am I right or is it different in other cultures? I googled it before but it just says right hand, yet in anime/manga they always use left hand.
Japanese people don’t commonly use handshakes unless it a business reason to do so. It might also be that they do it the same way they receive presents? They receive with both hands as a cultural thing so maybe it’s why they use left hand to shake and right hand to hold the wrist of the left. It’s the same as how they accept sake being poured into their cup. It’s only a guess for me tho since I’m only studying Japanese and Japanese culture and I don’t actually live there at the moment. Other cultures do use right hand to shake hands and that’s probably more superstition and convenience than anything. Most people across the globe are right handed so it’s easier but also superstition says that the left hand receives satan and rejects god. It’s common for left handed children in Islam specifically but perhaps other religions as well to be forced to learn to be right handed. My cousin was left handed and had a left dominant foot and was rigorously trained out of it. I think it comes from the Adam and Eve story and about the Apple bro no in the left hand or some random bs but some people still believe it so that reason still exists. I’m just confused because the author wasn’t consistent in their drawing.
This is a Korean manhwa and the left handshake is also portrayed in a business setting type of stories. I am not sure about relating it to superstition but for common courtesy and business setting, people use the right hand, regardless whether the person is left handed.
Yes but different cultures do things differently. For example, Russia use the wedding bands on the right hand instead of the left one. Western countries use white wedding dresses but some cultures use white to mourn the dead. It depends on the culture you have. I know for a fact that China, Korea and Japan all have a culture of politeness and that includes using two hands to receive something. They don’t commonly use handshakes cause they have the bowing system so only in business is it really used. Maybe in some sports. But like I said, I’m only going off what my studies say about the matter. There’s not much material on handshake etiquette in Japan and Korea so you have to use your knowledge of other places where the left hand is commonly used which is receiving things. You use both hands or in the case of receiving alcohol from a superior or a business partner, you hold the cup in your left with the right hand on the left wrist. There’s many reasons for using both hands. It’s polite, they can see both hands so it gives a feel of safety and friendliness, there are superstitions that receiving with both hands will grant you abundance. There are so many more as well. Other cultures and people use this a lot as well. Butlers will hand things off with two hands and receive with both hands too. Ofc they have slightly different reasons but it adds stability but also a level of respect. You are taking it with full gratitude. This could be applied to the handshake. Since it’s business, you are taking the partnership with full gratitude. I’ve seen western people also use their left hands but it’s more casual when they use their left as opposed to their right. When I asked my boss why he did this before, he explained to me that using the left symbolises that you let your guard down and trust the person due to using your non dominant hand. Using your right hand would mean that you are in a position of power and are on guard. That’s why left hand handshakes are casual vs the stereotypical firm right hand handshake. I’m not sure if that applies everywhere but it’s worth considering as well. Japanese and Korean people want allies and show politeness through subservience a lot of the time. The reason they sit on their feet is originally so that soldiers and other people in the presence of royalty cannot jump up and murder the royal. If their legs are numb, the royal can be relaxed knowing that they will not be assassinated easily. The same about katana, they put it upside down on the wall so that it’s hander to just grab and stab. They want to show that they are safe and reliable and will not betray. If you consider those facts about their culture, using left hand to show less dominance and more friendly politeness might be a plausible reason for their doing it that way. But I don’t even think Japanese and Korean people know why they do certain things. I don’t know why people in my country do certain things and whenever I ask, no one knows the answer. If you can find a Japanese or Korean who can explain, that would be best but otherwise, I’ve outlined quite a few different possibilities. It could also just be that the author can’t draw right hands as well as the left one… we could be overthinking it all..
Didn’t they say that anxiety and fear and generally scared feelings are what make demons able to scent that he’s human? Then why isn’t anyone fixing his anxiety? If they KNOW he’s anxious - cause you take one look at the poor boy and he’s trembling - they should just HELP HIM! He’s drowning and needs a life raft thrown to him but no one is even making sure he’s okay. Even the lion dog that’s been all over him has been ignoring the anxiety in favour of adding fuel to the fire and making him more anxious. Does he WANT him to be caught as a human?? I don’t really understand this. Do they want my baby boy to die? If so, I’d like to petition the school to drag him out to where it’s safe and he can have peace of mind.
Everyone keeps saying "it's okay" or "ignore that rumour" , they all trying to help him already. It's just the peak of plot story.
If someone is scared and you say “it’s okay” or “ignore it”, do you expect them to just be able to do it? It’s like telling someone who’s crying to stop crying. It doesn’t work that way. He needs more than just reassurance, he needs to be shown that he’s valued and won’t be avoided. It’s not just that he’s worried about the rumours. He thinks his friend knows he’s a human and is avoiding him, the lion dog is teasing and taunting him and his sorta lover sorta not is avoiding him and telling him to stay away. He’s treating him like a nuisance and someone he doesn’t want to be around. It’s not just the rumours but those don’t help. I just find it really bad of those who are in the know to just leave him stewing cause that’s just going to result in more people figuring out he’s a human and him getting closer and closer to being killed. Rumours are bad enough but if people start smelling his fear and realising the rumours were real and he’s right there? He can’t escape a school full of demons. He cannot hide in a school full of demons. They will smell him and hunt him for sport. If it’s part of the plot, it’s kinda stupid considering they gave us this lore in the beginning and this event just goes directly against what was warned in the beginning. The guy who warned him is the guy who’s doing exactly what’s making him freak out. You’d think he’d know better but apparently he doesn’t.
Man, you need to calm down. I know you anxious in these chapter but neither our beloved couple can do anything about the situation, that why they trying to find the culprit. To make everything back to normal is to deceive school that the rumour is false. And since no one knows the uke is human , he still safe, "what if" bla bla in bad way then that we wait for another chapter so author can give us the satisfaction for their story,
It’s not me that’s anxious tho. Like you said, it’s a story. I’m angry that the author hasn’t stuck to their own lore. Imagine creating a lore then ignoring it. Imagine is a franchise like fnaf or lord of the rings were to create lore for the story then ignore it. It would cause a huge uproar. Even the fanfics and the fan made games all adhere to the original lore. There’s no point to making your readers aware of lore if you’re going to ignore it. I’m a writer myself and I don’t know any other author who would so easily just abandon their own plot line and their own lore for some spice. There’s so many ways to create tension and spice that needs resolving without the need to ignore the lore. Imagine if aot just randomly decided that titans wouldn’t function the way that they do for a few episodes. That’s also a manga. Fans would be so confused and get angry at the author. I like these characters but not enough for me to keep reading if it really was bothering me. I love some misunderstanding and some issues cause that’s what makes it realistic. No relationship worth having comes easy. But there’s never a reason for this from the author.
It’s so confusing and I don’t like anyone here anymore. Nothing makes sense and when I look to the comments, no one else understands either. If it gets better later on and someone understands and reads the raws, please let me know if it’s worth sticking around to see it get better but otherwise, I’m over it.

A lot of people read the comments to figure out if a book is worth reading and a lot of people stay away from books that have a lot of “I’m dropping” comments. Just cause you don’t care doesn’t mean everyone else doesn’t. The world literally doesn’t revolve around you and what you think. Yeah but it pisses me off no matter if it’s a woman, a man, a horse or chicken doing it. It makes me so mad whenever authors draw out the miscommunication trope. It’s good for 2-3 situations but after that, just go seek therapy. If you’re struggling that much to speak your mind, you need therapy to help undo whatever mental block you have that prevents you from communicating. People are not mind readers and even if we were, spoken words hold more meaning and significance than thought words do. I just wish the author would make him learn this valuable lesson quickly so I don’t have to get annoyed at him creating problems out of thin air by not simply asking questions to find out answers.

Idk what the author is doing but they are making the readers hate the book and by doing so, people will dnf it. Get a move on author because keeping the readers in this annoyance is only bad for business. None of these issues are necessary to progressing the plot so why would people want to stick through chapters upon chapters upon chapters of the same stupid issues that could have been resolved in 5 pages of conversation? I’m so exhausted from reading books with this much misunderstanding trope and issues with no resolve.
Adding in unnecessary SA into yaoi is overrated and we hate it. You’ve made everyone drop this book due to your carelessness in writing and you not doing enough due diligence to figure out that your audience hates this stuff. We also hate it when there’s no warning like me who has PTSD and got triggered.
Chapter 4 has officially ruined the whole book which is such a shame because we loved 1-3.
